Cheap-ish hotel needed !

My lady and I are coming over to Disneyville for an impulse trip at the end of November. As it's an unplanned trip, we need to do it on a fairly tight budget and want to find a hotel for up to $50 a night preferably including taxes but I know that might be a stretch.

Location wise, we'd prefer to be somewhere along the US 192 close to Disney, on the Western section, or close to LBV if possible.

As for the accomodation, as long as it clean, comfortable and has a decent sized pool, we're open to just about anything.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated ! Thanks.

Not sure what your dates are, but you may want to be aware of the (U.S.) Thanksgiving holiday which falls on 11/25...some of the hotel prices might be hiked up a bit over that weekend. Can you utilize Priceline or Hotelkingdom.com from the UK? On HK, plug in your dates and when you find some hotels that fit your budget needs, you could ask about those specific hotels here...From what I've seen, those are the websites that seem to offer the best deals. Sorry I'm not able to give you a specific hotel recommendation...

Thaks for the reminder about Thanksgiving, I'd totally forgotten about that. As it happens we've had a slight change of plan and are now starting our trip in MIami - we've already got a really nice hotel sorted at a good rate starting on November 26th, so I think maybe we got lucky there !.

Now all we need is a hotel in Orlando for about 5 nights from December 5th. I see a lot of Christmas shopping in our future...
