Hey everyone!

We are planning a wedding for May 2010, and searching for probably an online company that does pretty cheap, but nice looking invitations. We're trying to keep things cheap...we've even looked at Walmart, Michaels, etc., but are looking for options that can be a bit more personalized/ with more color.

Has anyone found a website for great (and affordable) invitations, save-the-dates, etc?

Thanks for your help! :thumbsup2

Target has some DIY invites that look letterpressed and have modern designs and colors. You can find some online, but they have a better selection in-store.

Costco has discounted invites, including a selection of Disney invites. http://www.costco.com/Browse/ProductGroup.aspx?Prodid=11203810

Several of my friends have used weddingpaperdivas.com for budget invites and they have been very happy with them.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! I'm off to look now! I didn't even think of Costco!

Several friends & I have used Vistaprint.com. I liked them, being able to see exactly what invitation and cards would look like, real inexpensive, lots of freebies and very good shipping time (I received them before they quoted my arrive date)! BUT you will get sale emails from them.

I have to say, I love VISTA!! I have used them for my wedding invites, my home reception invites and my programs!

I was just asking my sister about invitations and she's had about 5 friends go to Kinko's-evidently they will design and print invitations...I need to look into it for further info..;)

I love cards and pockets, we're going to buy all our supplies from there. They have the pocket invites for really cheap. You buy all the parts and just assemble them. You can print them yourself on your printer or have them print for you. The printing is very reasonable, you can send them your design and they'll give you a quote in a day or so. I've gotten two quotes from them and I was really surprised at how low the price was. The paper quality is very good (you can buy samples) and I've shown the sample I made to people and they can't believe that I made it.

I used Vista Print for my save the date postcards. Keep an eye on your credit card to see if you signed up for their "reward" program. I used the cheapest shipping and received my shipment in less than a week. Always wait for their email for a special deal.
I went to 3 different Micheal's for my invitations. I have only 100 guest and wanted extras because not all of the sets had all of everything. They were on clearance for $10 originally $40. It is a 30 pack of invitations, jackets, response cards, closure tags, direction cards, and response cards and envelopes. They are not the best quality envelopes but I really do not care about that.

My wedding is not until June but we are going to do some test runs in a few months to see the quality.

Thanks for all of the ideas, guys! We are checking them out! :thumbsup2
