cheap Girly dog tags?

UGGG!! I knew my sisters love of M*A*S*H would kick my butt eventually. They want dog tags for our vacation (and I totally love the idea) but I cant find girly ones. I remember seeing ones with pictures on one side and then your engraving on the back. I need four at least (two for the kids, a new one for me, and one with moms med infromation for her). Any ideas?

I know our local Wal-Mart has a machine that does engraved dog tags...I'm not sure how fancy of one you need but it would certainly be worth looking in to. I intend to get one for my daughter for when we are at Disney in February. I actually lost her when we were there in June and it would've been so helpful to have had my cell phone number on a dog tag so that she could've had a grown up call me.

i got my daughter plain dog tags at armynavy.com VERY cheap and they came with colored silencers-red for her, b/c it's her favorite color. she's had them for about 7 years and worn them on every one of our trips and they still look like new. perhaps the silencers could be considered girly? the tags are only $5.95, and you get 2 dog tags, 2 silencers and 2 chains (1 long plus 1 short).

Try Ebay, we have bought tags for our dog but they have cute shapes and designs and colors, too - all different fonts you can choose. They are only 3.59 with free shipping - just no necklace. pettags4less is the guys user name

You could do it a few ways, you could get dog tags from Oriental Trading and a cheap engraving pen to write on the opposite side from the design (I especially like Hibiscus dog tags for a stay at the Polynesian, for instance), or you can buy prepackaged rub on decals from any craft store, and get plain ordinary dog tags with the engravings on them, then just decorate them with the decal on one side.

Edited to add this, from the Oriental Trading site: they recommend using plain old permanent markers OR an engraving pen to personalize the dog tags, so you could just mess around with customizing your own however you like and not bother with getting them engraved. If you don't want to go mail order, you can get dogtags from machines at places like Walmart or Petco, some of which are Disney shaped/themed. Of course, they're literally DOG tags, but who cares?

Maybe instead of Dog tags you could google search luggage tags. Maybe you'll find more girly varieties with a luggage tag and they look like dog tags too.
