I discovered this quite out of necessity. We recently went on a Mexico Mission trip with our high school youth group. I interpreted we would be drinking purified water as "bottled" water. Which isn't the case. It is purified with chlorine. I can't stand the taste of chlorine so I was having a hard time drinking the water. I didn't pack my pour ins because I thought it would be bottled and we wouldn't need them. I did pack some hard lemonade candies (country time from the dollar tree), I mixed two of them in a 20 oz. bottle of water and it made it drinkable.
I will be taking them on my next Florida trip as well because they are cheap, cheap, cheap and easy to pack without the risk of mess that the pour-ins can be.
Hope this helps- I was thrilled to find this. Our Dollar Tree has a package that has just lemonade and one that is assorted. I used the assorted one and loved the peach. It was my favorite. This adds very little sugar and calories to your water.
