Cheap Eats Near or Around the Disney Area?

Hi All!

Okay I have gotten some great coupons at Restaurant.com for:

Shula's $25.00 coupon with a purchase of 2 entrees
Il Mulino (sp) at the Swan hotel same coupon as above
Kimono's $25.00 coupon with a $35.00 purchase

Currently Restaurant.com is running a special $2.00 for each certicate. The coupon code is PLATE.

But...

Other than that has anyone been to any cheap eats near the Disney area?

All you can eat breakfast (minus drinks) at Ponderosa is $3.99. There are several locations.

Is this close to Downtown Disney? I see several posts about Ale house, but not sure if it is called Orlando Ale house or Millers Ale House? Are they the same. I am interested in the one close to DD.

This is the one closest to Vistanta and the main entrance to Downdown Disney..http://millersalehouse.com/BUENA VISTA.htm scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on mapquest.
Actually coming from Vistanta it's just past the entrance of DTD on your left.

There is also one on International Drive, but I've never been to that one.

The Orlando Ale House is the same as the Millers Ale House is just down from DTD. We usually stay at the Caribe Royale and it is less than 5 minutes to get there. Check the website for the prices, I am not sure about the steaks. I have one child that LOVES the Zingers and only orders that, I usually order the Philly Cheesesteak and my other 2 fluctuate on what they order. With sodas which are HUGE, our meal with an appetizer (some are a meal in themselves) usually runs about $46. They have drink specials and specials of the day every day. You can eat at the "high tops" in the bar area or get a booth on the other side. Hope you like it!

We really enjoy the Ale House as well. Lots to choose from and big portions.

We like Flippers Pizza in Crossroad Shopping Center too.

There is every chain restaurant you can think of nearby WDW. We sometimes get giftcards from rewards programs and use them.

Do they ask you if this is your first time? We have 6 in our party will everyone get a free desert? We go here every year and have never gotten anything free.

New York Pizza World on Irlo Bronson Highway! We always drive to WDW and arrive around dinner time. It's always our first meal of the trip in Orlando. Very very good pizza.

I'd pick up those local booklets that are everywhere they usually have coupons in there. Buffets are good money value too like Golden Corral or Cici's pizza.
