My family has a vacation package booked with wdw, and it doesn't allow for check in until May 4th.. Well, things have changed with us, where we can leave and start the 20 hour drive (ugh..) Saturday, making it where will can take our time and arrive in Orlando, Sunday.. That being said, what would be a clean, cheap, close place to stay...

I do not know where you are driving from .... on Saturday 2nd May.... But I would stay outside of

Greater Orlando area on the Sunday & have a good rest

Then Early on Monday 4th set off , excited and rested & Happy for your Real Hotel.

Please Mention in reply, on what Hwy & from where you are entering Florida

then I am sure help will be given to find a Hotel / Motel for you

I am sure you would all appreciate a break in the 20 hour drive

You might think of doing the same thing on homeward bound

Couple questions to help -
- What is "cheap"? Your budget for the night.
- What time will you arrive to checkin - meaning are you interested in a pool or anything else OR just hitting the bed?

Sorry, about not being more descriptive...looking for under $125 a night, and I would like a rollaway or a suite.. We are a family of 5. Two adults, 3 littles(9,7,4) a pool would be nice, but not necessary.

We are hoping to drive about 10-12 hours Saturday, stay somewhere along the way, then drive another 8-10 Sunday, to make it to Orlando..it helps us all not be so tired from the drive... And I get to keep my sanity of the "Are we there yet?" Then bright and early head to wdw... Check in/Get our tickets and head to the parks:)

Time frame of getting to Orlando... Eh...7ish? The latest..

I still do not know where your starting point is & where you are entering Florida ?

Is it Tallahassee side or Lake City or Jacksonville side

I'm sorry.. From 1-75 towards Tampa, then 429 south.. Is what mapquest says. We live in NWA Arkansas..

For Sunday night before check in - Buena Vista Suites.
Nicely appointed suites are great for bigger family.
Go via Mousesavers link and you can book from $94-114 rates. No hidden fees.
SUITE, one bedroom with two beds and living room with sofabed and kitchenette.
Nice small pool and includes hot breakfast.
We have stayed here the night before a check in and works out great.
Easy straight shot on to property. Sits at corner of 535 and International.

Here is what I would do ...

Take Hwy I 75 South & Stay on it Till NEAR Ocala

THEN Take HWY 27 South heading towards Clermont

Stay on HWY 27 And you will Take TURN onto **** HWY 192 ( Disney Exit ) ****

OR

Stay on Hwy 27 & 6 miles further on JOIN Hwy I 4 East ( Orlando ) &

Then Follow Signs to Disney

Now For an overnight Stay & Refresh yourselves

I would stay in Lake City ( Days Inn $50 for 2 adults ) Gainesville ( Econo Lodge or Days inn ) Or Ocala

Again a Days Inn

There are at least 4 other Motels at each of these City's

Look them up on Google Earth ...... or download HotelCoupons.com

By the way I am NOT from USA But I do travel in Florida & Europe ( I live in Ireland )
