All is good - DH and DN are sleeping. I probably should be too - but I took nap after work . I do get to sleep in tomorrow - but I have to work a 12 hour shift

I just got home awhile ago. My bf didn't work today and we went out after I got off of work. We went to Chick's Sporting Goods. They have some cool Quiksilver, Volcom, Fox, Alpinestars, Hurley, Billabong shirts on sale for $10 with an additional 25% off. I bought 4 shirts from a Chick's during the weekend and we went to another one today and got more shirts. I also went to Mervyn's and noticed that they are going out of business? I found a cute Tinkerbell tote there.

I went to a store in Citywalk yesterday and they had cute Disney pins on clearance. I grabbed a whole bunch and the sales lady thought I was nuts.

Really? I didn't know they owned Target. I'm not sure if all Mervyn's are closing but this one was. Not sure if the one near my house is either but I did notice they had merchandise on sale marked 50% off.

On Aug. 4, 2008, Hayward, CA-based Mervyns, a mid-tier department store chain with 176 stores in seven southwestern states, filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. On Aug. 13, Mervyn's said it would close 26 (nearly 15%) of its stores by late October or early November. Mervyns said an undisclosed professional services firm would assist it in liquidating the closing stores.

Stores being closed are as follows: Phoenix (3) and Scottsdale (1), AZ; Antioch, Canoga Park, Fairfield, Foothill Ranch, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Livermore, Napa, Palm Desert, and Thousand Oaks, CA; Boise, ID; Carson City, Reno, Las Vegas and Sparks, NV; Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, and San Antonio (3), TX.
