Yes - come to find out Alecia has the really hard/strict teacher (turns out she had the same thing last year too). Good thing is she does better with a challenge - she will only do the basic thing necessary to survivie otherwise - so I would rather he be pushed at school.

DS loves it too - his teachers love him, and are going to work really hard to get him so extra speech therapy. The nice thing with him (we added him to full day at the last minute). This is nice for him because he gets 4 hours where there are 10 kids - so better chances for peer relations, as well as extended "enrichment" time to help him master the material. That and more 1:1 time with the teachers is a great thing for him. (To explain, his class is part 1/2 day and part full day - done deliberately by us to get the teacher we wanted )

Ok I just put some pictures of Jake when he was a baby in my pre Trip report and he says they are embarrassing but they are so cute I'm keeping them in there.

Like the people on the dis are going to laugh at him at his school

Jake has been great as long as I dont put anything unmanly in his lunchbox or make him wear anything umanly. I'm still unclear on what that is because last night he was in Morgan's silver leotard and pink tutu dancing around the house.

Sorry I ran off there. I was going to quickly vacuum the living room - then the vacuum made this horrible noise and I realized I had enough hair and carpet tangled up to provide homes to 1000 homeless birds

So how do you determine the difference between birds that have a nice home and ones that are homeless? Are the homeless birds the ones that hang out in the parking lot near the shopping carts waiting for a spare french fry? Does that mean that I really don't have bird houses in my yard, rather they are homeless bird shelters?? So many questions I have about life, yet so little time!

Ugh... what is WRONG with me??? I have been bawling my eyes out for DAYS.. I am not a crier. Really. Least sensitive person I know, including the hubby. But I have just been crying about everything! Its VERY BIZARRE. I feel like I am loosing my mind.

Oh, and Frelan told his mom today, and she just brought him DOWN. All negative and such. He was so pissed. He has been so excited since we found out, he keeps saying how special this is, and what a blessing it is. Then he tells her and she gets on his case about it. Hag. Actually, I said a much meaner word... but I knew she was going to do this.. and I told him not to expect her to be happy for us. He actually said that he wants MY mom to move back up here and move in with us... To help for a while, you know. I said, well... it would make more sense for YOUR mom to just come by and help... How sad is it that he doesnt want his own mother around, because she is THAT bad. And we all know that my mom isnt exactly a winner... But she is excited, and being really nice and helpful about it. His mom is CRAZY.

Feeling like you're losing your mind is totally normal, it is just nature's way of preparing you for twins.

I'm surprised that MIL didn't lecture you for ovulating 2 eggs at once!

I'm always telling my DD that she needs to never date anyone that has a mean mother. Because one day she could be your MIL!!

Not long ago she was telling me that she was glad her last boyfriend broke up with her, because his mother was a hag. She said it was worth it just to not see his mother anymore!

Love it! I think I am lucky.. At least Frelan KNOWS how awful his mom is, and isnt blind to it like some people are, you know? I mean... She lives a whopping 5 minutes away, and we see her maybe every few months. HOWEVER.... I have a feeling that when the babies come, she will be over a lot more. So what's your weather doing up there? The last couple of days we were around 100 degrees, today it's partly cloudy and the temp. keeps going up and down, earlier it was 86, now it's 78. But it's extremely humid (at least by our standards).

Love it! I think I am lucky.. At least Frelan KNOWS how awful his mom is, and isnt blind to it like some people are, you know? I mean... She lives a whopping 5 minutes away, and we see her maybe every few months. HOWEVER.... I have a feeling that when the babies come, she will be over a lot more. Since we dont have anyone else to help out, and I will NEED HELP!

OMG... CREEPY. I was just going to comment on our weather. We were in the high 90s the past few days... Now it is 85, and SO HUMID. Seriously.. It was 80 and RAINING earlier. We had the thunderstorms last night too.. I would have slept through them, but Alex got scared and woke me up asking if he could sleep with me. Why not?? Mikalah was already there. We are SOOO going to need a bigger bed.

Maybe you can put her in charge of non-children things....laundry, shopping, running errands, housework. She might be happier doing that once the fun & newness of the babies wear off.
