Hey Pix!

Did you hear that Disney raised the price of admission tickets? And I have a question to pick your brain. Doesn't DL usually have discount tickets during the slow season for So Cal residents?

Hi Melody! Did they really?? I haven't looked. I just renewed my premium AP last month. I was afraid they would raise the cost for the AP's.

Right now they have a promotion for So-Cal residents. You can purchase this card that has a picture of Woody on it. They sell them at Albertson's, Ralph's, Disney Store, etc. It's a 3-day park hopper for $99. My bf got one and we need to use it up before the end of this month. I'm not sure when it expires but it's a good deal.

Good evening hyenas. Just a quick post. I haven't been feeling too well and I had a horrible horrible night and couldn't sleep. I think I have a 24 hr flu bug. I called in sick this morning and tried to sleep. My whole body felt like I was hit by a truck and I had the worst headache.

I made some chicken soup: chicken thighs, Swanson's chicken broth, chopped leeks, white potatoes and some salt & pepper. I ate it with some steamed rice. I feel a lot better after having slept.

yea i know the bp thing is strange...each time at hospital I was ask if I felt ok, and boom, i start spinning and wake up later...and was told bp went down...still don't know why...my dr...thinks it is med related....

I read about that, but I think it expires before I need them. I just bought tickets for Mickeys Halloween party, and some of my family members will need some regular DL tickets too of course.

Oh and we are doing the party on October 17th!!

My kids are all trying to figure out what to dress up as. Right now they are thinking of Super Heroes. Kaitlyn wants to do Alladin theme. I probably could get some of those costumes I made back just for the party. I can hardly wait. My grand kids are going to have so much fun. So is grandma!!

No she doesn't have High BP, but DH Dave does, and before he got on meds, he had them all the time. Now he hardly gets them.

There is really no rhyme or reason for her headaches other than stress, hormones and genes. It does run on my DH's side of the family. His brother gets terrible headaches where they actually give him morphine to help the pain. His are stress related. His 2 DDs get them too. One of them who is only 16 has even tried Botox to help out the pain. His other brother's DD gets them too. It is a terrible cycle.

I guess I am blessed not to have them. I only get headaches right before I start my monthly.

That's interesting, because for the year or two before DH was diagnosed with his heart problems, he was getting frequent, terrible headaches. Nobody said anything about it being a symptom of high BP (maybe DH never brought it up, I don't know) but he did notice that the headaches went away when he started on all the heart meds. Otherwise the only 'cure' for one of those was to slam some Coca Cola! I'm not sure why that would help; the caffeine or sugar maybe? rotfl:

Probably the caffeine!

Same thing here. When he was diagnosed with high BP, the Doc asked if he got headaches. Umm Yes!!!!
