You did the tour, too?

I did it as part of a group for work several years ago; I think it was a fairly new thing back then. This time it was different; our tour guide, Captain Matt, never told us what to do with the quackers.

On the first tour I was on, we were told to quack at passersby, quack at anyone who quacked at us first, and I think quack when we stopped at a light. People would come out of their businesses with quackers of their own and quack at us, and we'd quack back, it was hilarious!!!

But none of that this time, and I was disappointed. I knew the kids would get a kick out of quacking at people, and we barely used the quackers at all.

Little kids on the street would wave, and we waved back. A scruffy looking guy (homeless, perhaps?) had a quacker, so the boys and I quacked back at him and made him smile. And OMG, when we went down the dock into the water, DS4 panicked! "Mama, we're going to sink! We're sinking!" (Reminded me of when we were on the Alaska Air flight and he started shouting, "Mayday! Mayday! We're going down!" )

He designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA ..too much reflection.. they had to sand down a few panels because it was causing 140 degree heat spots that could melt plastic on the pavement and sunburned people.

Yeah... we did it a couple of years ago with the kids. We bought the quackers, and the kids had a blast with them. We keep saying that we are going t do it again, it was just so much fun!

Really? I thought it looked dumb-funny, a la Will Ferrell. And because it involves a hot blonde, I figured it would be right up DH or FIL's alley.

DH always tries to say he doesn't like those kind of movies, but he really does. He also likes anything with Stallone, Jean-Claude van Damme, or the guy who was married to Kelly LeBrock...

GROSS!! On TV they are showing a girl that was on Tyra Banks's show. She EATS and ENJOYS EATING cigarette ashes! Correction: 2 girls enjoy eating cigarette ashes. They even ate it with ice cream (like sprinkles). BLECH!!

yeah, the "Talk SOUP" guy was making fun of them a few days ago. One girl was all "ohhh I like how it tastes in my mouth, all goeey and good"
