Hi hi, and good morning everyone.

I got my eyebrows waxed today but the lady did more tweezing than waxing and tweezing hurts! My eyes watered like mad.

Good Morning!

Ok we had such a busy weekend. Jake started football practice last night. The cup only comes for games so it was left at home. :lmao: Anyway, he had to run to the fence and back because he turned at one point and waved at his mommy. :rolleyes1 I waved at him first. DANG. He did it though. I totally expected crying but nothing. The coaches were tough. They were like high school tough. Jeff was having flash backs to why he probably joined the band! :lmao: They weren't THAT bad but they were pretty tough for the first practice. Jake did it though. When we first pulled up I was a little scared for him. Some of these boys are 7. its a 5-7 year old team. I thought it was just 5 year olds. The 7 year olds are big. Not quite big enough for the tackle team yet that starts at 7 but they are huge next to Jake. Good thing this is flag. The coach kept yelling at them "THIS IS FLAG FOOTBALL, THIS IS SERIOUS GENTLEMEN" I was trying very hard not to laugh at that. I do see the discipline from karate and from football very good for Jake. I know it was for my brothers and Jake has listened a little better since taking karate. They always stress respecting and listening to your parents there. So does football. :thumbsup2 Thank goodness cuz that boy is nuts

Tonight Jake gets has his moving up ceremony for his next belt in Karate. I dont officially know what all of this is called since this is his first time doing it. He's going from a white belt to a yellow belt. So, Morgan and I go to tumbling, Jake goes to football practice in 113 degree heat by the way, Morgan and I pick him up 45 minutes early to head over to the karate place to get his knew belt! :yay: Crazy night.

Yesterday in lunch, mommy (me) made the big screw up. I mean huge screw up. They have a Hannah Montana and a Speed Racer Thermos that I put in their lunch boxes for hot foods. .Well I mixed them up. Morgan could have cared less but Jake opened and closed his bag. He did not want anyone to see it. He says his teacher came over to ask what was wrong (not sure if he was crying or not but I dont think so and she took a peek and said she would buy him chicken nuggets) :lmao: So I have to be clear with her whether she bought them on our account or hers. I dont want her paying for our lunch b ut that was nice of her to do that but if she did I need to pay her back.

FROM now on MOM dont switch the containers. Tough little boys do not like Hannah Montana in their lunches! :lmao:

I AM GOING TO GO CRAZY...my security system will not shut up!!!!! It keeps screaming master bedroom....the cops have been here....I am waiting on a repair person and have been for almost 2 hours.....the only thing I did manage to do is get it turned down...now you only hear it in the kitchen and great room.....

Whoa people. I wanted to rescue us from obscurity.

I dont have anything else now til the kids get in bed but wanted to find this thread for later.

Howdy!!

My internet has been down for a few days.

After about 3 hours on the phone, it is now fixed. That is the hardest part of it..................to have the time to sit and fix!

Well this weekend is our big family reunion that we are hosting. So alot of things that I would be procrastinating on, are getting done. The biggest one being the pool house. Painting, tiling, light fixtures, sink........................

I want this week to be over.

Good news is that Kaitlyn made the volleyball team!! YAY!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm tired. Do you guys ever get tired of me saying that? :rolleyes1

:rotfl:

Hello Hyenas,

Wow, our thread is so quiet! What the heck happend? :confused3

Last night I ate some food with my grandma and family friend. My grandma ordered one dish of clams in a bean sauce. It tasted a bit funky and strange. I had never had it before and wasn't sure if it was supposed to taste like it did. Well my grandma and I both kept using the restroom when we got home. I kept waking up in the middle of the night and just felt like crap.

I went to work and kept using the bathroom. I felt horrible and called my doctor and made an appointment. My doctor said it was bad seafood and that I have to be careful when it comes to seafood. He said some places may not handle it properly or it may not be fresh. He told me take some imodium and said if it doesn't improve after 1-2 days to call him back and he'll prescribe antibiotics. I called into work and said I would be out for the rest of the day. My manager already knew I wasn't feeling well.

I went to Target nearby and bought some small gatorade and imodium. I went home and took some medicine and drank some apple juice. I ate a handful of plain wheat thins since I was afraid to eat anything else.

I took a nap and slept for almost 4 hrs. I was so exhausted and had stomach cramps. I woke up around 8pm and showered and now I'm feeling a lot better.

Oh and I'm not too thrilled but this morning my manager told me that this one co-worker of mine decided to go on the company trip. He hates all of us for whatever reason and is very disrespectful and rude to all of us. Our manager was doing the booking last Friday and I was helping out to make the list to send to the Disney Travel Co., which was taking care of the booking for us. This co-worker was asked 3 times if he wanted to go and he kept saying no. Everything was set and we receive the itinerary for the hotel, etc. this morning. Low and behold, the evil co-worker says he "changed his mind." :headache: I had to e-mail the planner and apologize and ask that they please add one more person plus their family. Ugh!! I don't get it....if he hates all of us why the heck does he want to go?? He doesn't even like Disneyland and used to make fun of me and said it was childish!  He did the same exact thing last year when we were doing the booking for our cruise. He changed his mind at the last minute and were charged fees.

Hubby had a screwed up end to dialysis today, first the tubing wouldn't come apart to switch to rinse back-- argggh, I think the blood kinda clotted in the connection. Tried to do rinse back on a different line, went to release clamps and the blood rinsed UP, filling with blood. Didn't notice at first, punched button for rinse back, forgot a clamp-- started alarming. At that point we notice the blood filled saline bag.. decide to do manual rinse back-- pop opened the machine-- SQQQQQQQQQUUUUUEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZE the saline bag to rinse back all his blood, the bugger is NOT moving.

umm dear, it wasn't that hard to rinse back by hand when we were in clinic

It was for me.

No, the nurse said it shouldn't be hard to rinse back.

At this point he's mad at the whole business.

Look more at the cartridge and the dialyzor-- DARK dark blood.. thinking screw it, it's all clotted now anyway. :headache:

Had to throw out the whole works and not get back his blood.. :guilty: so much for keeping on top of his hemoglobin. Next lab draw may be a big dip in his levels.. they can give him iron IV in clinic if needed.

BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!:upsidedow

I don't like it when people are wishy washy to the point that their lack of decision making screws up everyone else.

Go kick him in the shins..
:thumbsup2

Glad you are feeling better:hug:
Eat the BRAT diet, it will help slow things down too.

Bananas
Rice
Apples
Toast

Followed up with some good yogurt (no sugar) with live cultres to replenish the good bacteria.

This little light of mine.. I'm gonna let it shine..

I see the light! Go to the light!

Lights on
Lights off
Lights ON

and nobody is home??

what did my gory bloody post scare ya off?

C'mon I deal with it everyday.. nothing like bloody gore to end the day ona good note

Actually, it was all contained among the tubing.. now there was that ONE time....
:rolleyes1

We had a great day today!

My sister came up (she lives about half an hour away) this morning and we drove into Seattle together. We went to Seattle Center to Ride the Ducks! I booked us last night for the 11:00 tour, and after a late start we arrived at the pick-up location about 40 minutes before the tour. :thumbsup2

The boys didn't really know what to expect, even though I'd told them that we were going on a bus that was also a boat. We started off near the EMP (Experience Music Project, the rock & roll museum built by Paul Allen.) We went over (and later under) the Aurora Bridge, the waterfront (Pier 70, the Ferry Terminal, the Seattle Aquarium, Ye Olde Curiosity Shop), through Pioneer Square, past Qwest Field and Safeco Field, Pike Place Market. DS4 got really nervous about going into the water, and asked me to hold him! :scared1: But in very short order he was hanging over the side of the boat trying to touch his hand in the water, so I was constantly pulling him back down to his seat trying to keep him from falling in. :rotfl:

From the water we saw Gasworks Park, watched a float plane land and later take off, kayakers paddle past, a sailboat and speedboat too. We saw the floating home that was used in Sleepless in Seattle (it's 2100 SF and for sale for $2.1 million, in case anyone's interested.)

It was a fun tour, and I'm glad we did it today!

After the tour we drove to Ivars and ate fish and chips, yum! Then scooted home so DS4 could nap and DS7 had some quiet time reading in his bedroom. My sis and I had a long chat (it's been a long time since we've talked like that) and when DH came home he grilled up some T-bones for dinner. Awesome! :cool2:

How come they don't just tell him no it's too late, if you want to come you have to pay the additional charges? That would stop him from doing this I would think.

wow, school starts today for all of us but DD....she is loving it....the little brat even came down with her guitar and played a song about how it is going to be great to sleep in ....it was funny...(I want my money back from music lessons....I didn't pay the guy to teach her to be a brat:) )

I went to bed early....was so tired from the days events and the next couple of days will be just as crazy with meetings and so on....

Oh and B.... I saw that...:lmao:

Ok getting ready for school.

By the way HI LISA! Thanks for telling me you posted or else I never would have seen it!

Hi Melody.

Lisa and I are in the midst of planning our daughters Cheetah girls birthday partys. Unfortunately we live 1200 miles apart or else I can just imagine the huge blow out bashes we would have each year. Hers will be a star studded gala event hosted at her house featuring makeovers,pj's and the Cheetah Girls movie premiere. Morgan is dying to go to it. :lmao: Not this year sweetie.

Ours will be the next day with a hip hop and Bollywood dance class to the songs from the movie. I've made sarongs and saree or (sari) depending on where you read it head pieces with chiffon for them to wear. We also have dangling ankle and wrist bracelets made of gold little circle things. Geesh I cannot describe things this morning. They are the belly dancing stuff.

Anyway, both party's will be very fun!

And GOOD LUCK TO BAILEY TRYING OUT FOR HER DANCE COMPETITION TEAM THIS WEEK!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
