Good Morning!

Last night we went to the final night of the summer semester of cheer. It was the awards ceremony. Morgan got moved up to

PRO ALL STARS!!!




Although when I walked in the door and she told dh I said "honey you know what Pro All Stars do don't you?" He said "ummm are they they ones that....."
"Yes, they are the ones that TRAVEL"

Pro All stars went to Nationals in St Louis this summer and although they didnt place they had a pretty good routine. Luckily that is the only traveling they do once in the summer. We can handle that. Its also optional so if we dont want to do it we dont have to.

Here is the squad level just above where she will be in the fall at nationals 2 weeks ago. She will not be required to do basket tosses (just yet) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POw_4XpKLXU



Anyway, I'm really proud of her and it actually works out better for us because she is moved to monday nights and we have NO DANCE on Mondays this year. I repeat NO DANCE on Mondays this year. SO unusual.

Now here is my question... Why is the stupid tiptoe guy going the wrong way?

No kidding!!!

Okay... so we got kicked off for a bit, but all is now well in the dis world.

Dang it, I got booted, then brought the dog in (he sleeps in the computer room). Instead of dragging out the laptop I just played with my wii

It is just really hard to breath. It started this morning, and I seem to just get winded really easy. The coughing seems to be almost gone. The cough has run its course through the family, and everyone else has gotten over it. Except me.. Dunno why.

That sucks Staley. Have you tried allergy meds or an OTC inhaler. When I went to the DR for breathing problems they put me on both. Recently DH had the same, so I dragged him in, and guess what....allergy meds and an inhaler

My bf is having a bad day. The manager in the billing dept at his work offered him a position a few months ago. My bf accepted because it would mean less stress for him, better hours and a raise. Well they said that his supervisor plus one of the pharmacists had to approve. The pharmacist was on vacation for a month and just returned, found out my bf was offered to transfer and got pissed. She doesn't want him to transfer and she called him their "golden boy" because he does so much for their lazy rumps! She gives him the "silent treatment" and then says that she needs to train a new girl to take his place before he can move.

My bf found out that they hired 2 new people to fill the billing dept. Now their are no openings and he was upset yet sort of not at the same time. He expected them to screw him over in the end and he was right. So for the time being, he is stuck where he is but he said he will no longer bother to fix their computers like he's been doing. They have IT people and they found out he has computer knowledge and started taking advantage of that. He said that he is going to request all his vacation days next month to go job hunting elsewhere. He would like to work at Kaiser or in a hospital, some place where he can get a raise. His current job will only dish out 20 cents a year, which is just wrong.

I brought him some dinner awhile ago and we ate together. He called me later and said one of his rear tires was flat. I went to Auto Zone (since I was still closeby) and bought him a fix-a-flat kit. I stayed there and watched him in case I needed to do anything else to help him. Well after about 15 minutes of pumping the slime from the kit into the tire, that the air pressure valve had a crack and was causing the leak. He put on a spare but it's unusually small for some reason. He plans to go to America's Tire tomorrow but he's just really upset that he's having a bad day. I feel really bad because bad days are the worst and it makes one feel like absolute crap.

Oh and what was the point of offering him a position in billing if they weren't intent on following through with their proposal?? I thought that was odd

Stupid - hopefully he can find somewhere he likes better

DH had a really bad day, too. I felt so bad for him.

And tonight was our final baseball game, and the kids did soooo well! It was a great game, and DH said he was sad it was over already. He said it has been a great stress reliever, so he's doubly sad that it's done.

GOOD MORNING HYENA'S!!!

Just dropped the kiddos off at school - and this is strange. I don't work today, DH and DN are in the valley, and I am looking at this dirty house thinking I should do something about it.

DN is done with court....he got the minimum 2yrs probation - so he just has to be on good behavior. I think his intent is to stay up here throughout the probation, so maybe I should look at moving some of the toys out of his room .

So I come downstairs and say: "What?" and he said: "Get me a glass of water." Hello!! You are sitting less than 2 ft away from the fridge!!

I'm trying to get through work today.... a lot of my co-workers are missing.

I will be at DL and DCA tomorrow and I'm not sure how hot it will be. Hopefully it won't be too unbearable. We are definitely bringing the mister again. That thing has saved us in the scorching heat.

Ok last night I had a talk with Morgan's teacher about her shorts. I explained that she has LONG legs and she was wearing a pair of Justice shorts just like the little girl standing there but they dont look so s hort on that girl since her legs are not long. She was pretty stick in the mud about it all but did admit that it was her personal rule from MICHIGAN and realized that things were DIFFERENT here in ARIZONA.

DUH ya think.

She still was not convinced that I could send her but there is nothing written on this subject in the handbook and if she brings it up again I'll talk to the Principal. At first I was going to go buy all Bermudas but there is no reason I should go spend more money on shorts. She has 15 pair sitting in her drawer brand new all size 10 slim. she can wear them.

If my daugher dresses like a HO then so be it.

I know. That would be so funny!

I wanted to shout that she should tackle some of these kids that are wearing spaghetti straps to school when clearly that is in the guidelines not to. shorts to the fingertips is NOT. I mean really? C'mon. The inseam of her shorts were 4 inches. Shouldn't 4 inches be long enough just because she has monkey arms that are longer and stilt long legs that stick out below them isnt that enough. 4 inch inseams are LONG ENOUGH.
