Babe, mine has Stow and Go!

Guess who came to visit this week? Aunt Flo!

So I think I now have my new schedule figured out. Aunt Flo visits for 7 days (and she's mighty heavy!), then she's gone for about 30 days. Then she visits (normal Flo) for 4 days or so.

Then for about 2 weeks after she leaves I'm fine. Then EGAD!! The hot flashes start horribly for the next 8 weeks, I'm back on Prozac, then they start to subside, my face starts breaking out and then...REPEAT FROM ABOVE!

This is just totally nuts! I was having hot flashes Sunday morning and then they quit on Sunday evening when Aunt Flo showed up. This is just not right!! It is supposed to be one way or the other, not both!!

I have handled a lot of things in my lifetime with grace and dignity, but I swear this is driving me ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I guess I still must not support the Republican party due to Bernice's entire town being disrupted due to the RNC.

E refused to listen to it and channel surfed until he found a channel that did NOT have the RNC feed playing.. it was difficult I tell ya.

I did force him to watch MSN all morning while I did the dishes and tidied the kid free apt.

But it was lame.. re hashing and predicting if she could pull it off or not.. I guess I will get rehash tommorrow while doing my dishes again in the morning.

People will tell me my daughter will be paralyzed and I will be commiting a moral sin by having her ride a horse even though she is taller than most 9 year olds but she probably doesnt have the brain development of a mature enough child to hold the reins. Then a DR and a lawyer will come on and tell me I need to have my child examined and taken away from me for cruelty because I MUST be the worst mother in the world for wanting my 8 year old to live a fantasy of riding a horse.

HELL NO.

People will tell me my daughter will be paralyzed and I will be commiting a moral sin by having her ride a horse even though she is taller than most 9 year olds but she probably doesnt have the brain development of a mature enough child to hold the reins. Oh, forgot to mention, you should see what I would do for $43!

Alison's Pre-trip Report:

1. Pack toaster oven and crock pot so I can cook in room.

2. Beat children over the head so they are shorter and can pass for 9yo.

3. Scour garage sales and thrift stores looking for refillable mugs to use at each resort so I can go Mug Hopping.

4. Don't worry about packing any clothes. We just go to the laundry room and find some freshly laundered clothing in our size.

5. Pack our own hamburger buns, so we can order a double burger and not have to pay 80 cents for an extra bun.

I came home just now and there was a huge one in front of our garage and I freaked, grabbed the Ortho bug spray and sprayed it.

I'm calling the exterminator tomorrow because I don't want to get bitten and I especially do not want my grandma or anyone else to get bitten.

Hi Melody! thanks, i have been trying all sorts of home remedies to see if any of them work. I got some ginger syrup, and some more B6 stuff. I am feeling a BIT better, but I think I need my meds back. All natural isnt my thing I guess.


Okay. Big news from the Staley house... My husband is NUTS. Well... We all knew that, right? He traded in our car and bought a minivan. I LOVED our car. LOVED IT. We went to the Toyota dealership just to PRICE them... The guy asked if we could get the same monthly payment, would we buy?? Yeah, like THATS gonna happen. IT DID. We got an 06 Toyota Sienna with 20,000 miles on it. An 8 seater.. It is a year older then the Matrix, BUT... has less miles. The payment is $10. more a month then the Matrix..

I didnt think we were going to buy it... The guy comes out at first with a monthly payment of like $660. Yeah... HELLO. Twins coming. That is WAY more then our payment now. Really.. Like $250 more. But they kept knocking of more and more of the price, and raising the trade in value. AMAZING how that works, isnt it? At first it was only worth $12,000. and I think we walked out with around $18,000 or something. The original price of the van was $22,000. and we paid 18 or 19... I dont really know. For the first time EVER... EVER in our WHOLE relationship.. My husband took over, and did everything. He insisted that we get it, and worked the deal. I sobbed the whole time. I LOVED that little car. But... I KNOW we need something bigger. Even if it IS a gold Sienna.. That blends in with every other minivan out there.

We had one living on our patio last year.. DN blew smoke on it and it died. Hubby was always woried about it coming out and trying to bite anyone as the web was right below the railing.. where we all leaned when outside as we didn't have patio furniture.
