I told my cousins that not once did ever have a bad experience at Whitewater and this was just odd.So she waits for her burger and then the CM comes back with another one and without saying a word, she drops it a bit hard on our table (in front of my cousin) and walks away. No apology, nothing.
My brother took my cousin's receipt and walks out the door. I have no clue where he is going. I check my food and see that there are no bugs (we were all checking out food). I head to the restroom and as I'm coming out I see my brother. I asked where he went. He went to the front desk in the GCH lobby. He told them there was a bug on the food and the manager asked that he find the food manager of Whitewater.
We walk back and I see the manager standing in front of that pool side bar outside Whitewater. My brother tells her what happend and she apologizes, asks for the receipt and finds the CM's name that rung us up and the one that was rude towards my cousin.
She apologizes and says that all their kitchen items are sanitized and that they go through weekly health inspections on top of surprise inspections. She doesn't know how that bug got there and she apologizes for the bug and for the CM's rude behavior. She gave my cousin a full refund for their entire bill, which was really nice of her to do. We thanked her for that and she apologized again.
Well it's good that the manager's took it seriously. I know we want everything at Disney to be "magical", but mistakes and things do happen, I know the employees are only human like the rest of us. But they know that expectations are very high at Disney, so you would think when someone has a problem they would go the extra step and have employees bend over backwards to apologize and take care of the customers. That's the sort of thing that will keep people coming back.
