hmmm, you know that's how it all started out with me.
Like having the sore aches from the flu.. but it never goes away!
Not that I want you to join the fibro club, I want out of my membership now.
Upping my Vitamin D level has helped, taking the arthritis formula of acetaminophen (Tylenol) has helped a tiny bit to take the edge off what I call the "background pain".. you know that annoying chattering tense feel and it takes you awhile to realize "oh I hurt, that's why I want to bite everyone's head off"

The arthritis formulation lasts 8 hours, it's just regular acetaminophen but it's formulated as an extended release. You won't get an immediate relief, it's a slower response in waves over time. Per my doc.. Tylenol is kinder on the body than ibuprofen in terms of renal and liver toxicity.
Have you tried the spenco insoles? They are squishy, thick, shock absorbing and replace the insoles in your shoes. It can make cheapo Payless shoes feel comfy! Spenco is also known for making padding for wheelchairs and beds to prevent pressure sores (bed sores). So think of the insoles as pre-geriatric care for the "it sucks being 40 ish" population
My massage was great today!
Usually he works on my tight tender spots, mix of
ooooo that feels good
and
owwww okay, move on now
.
But since I am in my grrrrrrrrr tense, anxious, hurt everywhere kinda day because the weather changed (ya know, it's hard to enjoy nice warmer weather when the change causes my symptoms to flare.. sigh...) I opted for a full body relaxation massage.. ahhhhhhhhhh.
He did find a few spots, happily grinding away and trying to make the muscle release. New unhappy spots that we haven't worked on before. But I grumbled and he moved on.
It was the first time I felt that deep relaxed state, you know

how must people say they feel with a massage.
I didn't want my hour to be up, didn't want to get off the warm cozy table.. nooooo just let me sleep here and drool on the head cradle. zzzzzzzzzz
It felt great.
Which tells me this once a week thing is the way to go.
