Chatterbox Thread-Cmon in and Jabber! Everyone is Welcome!

UGGHH!!! Watching House Hunters and it's this idiot couple that are first time parents. All they do is comment how their baby "Jackson" might slam his fingers in those drawers, not sure how it will work with Jackson, Jackson's toys might not fit in her, there's no bathtub for Jackson, there's no door on this room for Jackson, the fireplace might be dangerous for Jackson, there's no extra play area for Jackson, the park next door will be nice for Jackson, the backyard is a little tight for Jackson...WTH? Is Jackson paying for this house????:rotfl2:

*snort* I cant think of a nice way to say what Im thinking.. So I will just go with... *SNORT*:lmao: Some people!:headache:

Luckily there's a cure for that kind of behavior...it's called a second kid!:lmao:

Of course then all you hear is Jackson be nice to your sister, Jackson don't make me come in there, Jackson go to your room, Jackson just wait until your dad gets home, Jackson!!!!!!!!!:rotfl2:

I have to go into work early tomorrow. I have an 8:15 physical therapy appointment...UGGHH!!

My arm was swelling from lymphedema, so I went last week and come to find out my compression sleeves that I sometimes have to wear had just worn out. Apparently you are supposed to replace them every 12 months and mine was 3 years old.:rotfl2: Elastic was just plain worn out and it wasn't squeezing my upper arm enough.

Anyway, then we discussed my abdominal pains due to my reconstruction. I now give myself a deep abdominal massage to help break up the scars from the muscles. He also wants me to meet with another therapist that specializes in breast cancer physical therapy. She's going to give me some exercises & tips to safely exercise and try to rebuild my core strength without hurting myself.:thumbsup2

My thought was get it done early in the morning. But I forgot to tell my boss last week, so now I need to go in early, get a few things done and leave him a note so he know's where I'm at. It's just across the street, so at least I don't have any driving time.:thumbsup2 They actually open at 7:30, so at least I didn't get the earliest one.

Here's my babies...Max (boy) & Pepper (girl). Pepper has the white feet. I had to laugh at them, they hate each other most of the time. But for some reason as soon as the weather turns cold, they instantly quit fighting, come into the house and start snuggling. Notice the little piece of Max's ear missing? He obviously lost that fight!

WHAT is the reasoning behind letting cheesecake cool before you eat it?????

Cuz warm cheesecake tastes kinda icky?:confused3 Does it firm up more after it cools down?:confused3

Why are you asking me...I cook meals. I can bake, but I really don't do that good at baking. Now ask me to sautee something or make dinner and I'm right there. :thumbsup2 Ask me to bake and it's either going to be good or really awful.:rotfl2:

I dont know... I have pumpkin cheese cake cooling down, and I want to eat it!!!!!

Yep... Warm cheesecake sucks..

See what happens when you don't follow directions!:lmao:

I guess that's why you should always make a batch of cookies right before making cheesecake.:thumbsup2

Well girl, I need to get to bed. Happy Dreams:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

Goodnight! HAve fun tomorrow.. I hope they dont work you too hard.

Morning all and happy Monday!

Well we had another fairly good day yesterday!

We tried our friends church and it was WAY different than what we are used to. It is a really LARGE church with lots of activities but it is actually more of what I was looking for when we started back to church 2 years ago but my girls went to my home church that I had gone to as a child and teen for a VBS and we just stayed. My church was very small and intimate and we knew everyone and my uncle went there and although it didn't have many programs we liked it. But as I said it just kind of fell apart so now we are trying something new. I have known about this particular church for years and now we have friends who go there so we thought we would try it. It is a bit intimidating going to somewhere so large and of course not really knowing anyone BUT hopefully we will like it. The girls do and as far as I'm concerned that is the most important thing at this point.

Anyway then afterwards we grabbed a quick lunch and then checked out a costume shop that was close and were able to get them costumes which was a good thing because they are at an awkward stage where they are getting too big for kids costumes and yet too small for adult. I have always bought them ones at the disney store on clearance every other year but as I had mentioned the largest size Disney seems to make anymore is about a 10. Luckily they are about at the end of their trick or treating years anyway. I have always told them that if they got invited to a party or halloween dance or some other event that they needed a costume they could do that when they got past elementary school but I personally don't feel that kids older than 6th grade should be trick or treating. I think once they get to jr high and older they just get obnoxious. I really think it is about the little kids. So my kids know that they have a couple years left and then halloween will be about watching movies and seeing the kids that come to the door. And like I said IF they have an opportunity at church or if we go to a halloween party at Disney or some other such thing they can dress up but otherwise their trick or treating days will be over.

Anywho I am off to work today and the exciting part is 1 month from today is our trip!! I have mixed emotions about it as I have said and esp now that I know that my stepdaughter is back in CA. Let's just say that she is not making very good choices right now and dh has had to give her a LOT of money behind my back and NOT to my liking and I don't really want her coming around esp when I am not home because she has caused a LOT of problems not to mention stolen from us and I don't want her bringing god only knows who WITH her. DH doesn't always see the big picture because he just wants to see his daughter and help her which is fine but I keep trying to tell him that she is not in a good place right now and he has to look past that and see where she is at and remember what has happened in the past and be a little careful. I told him if he wants to visit with her to go to a restaurant or something. She has been known to bring homeless people or druggies around and no offense but I really don't want my house broke into! I told him I don't want to have to worry about it while I am gone so hopefully he respects my wishes but we shall see.

Anyway I hope everyone has a good day.

Hey,

How's it going? I have not been on here for a while. I've just been busy doing other things and FB is so much more convenient for me. So what's new? I haven't read back. I'm off to my hip hop class and just wanted to say hi real quick. :)

Morning and happy Tuesday!

Well not much new on my end. Yesterday I just went in to work and it was the same ol same ol. My mom went to a golf tournament on Sunday for a friend's daughter who has cancer and I guess it was a great success but mom hurt her back so was unable to really play. This poor lady started out with breast cancer but then it went into her lungs I believe and she was really at death's door but then they found some type of miracle treatment in mexico and it has been working but it is REALLY expensive and of course NOT covered by ins so she needs money to help with that. But so far she has really come back and went from a few weeks to live to lasting several months and in much better health. So everyone is hoping she will go into remission and this might actually cure her!! She is only in her 30's and has two small children one of which is an infant so it is really sad.

Anyway then I picked up the girls and took Shelby to piano and I noticed it was REALLY smokey and Katy and I usually sit in the car while Shelby has her lesson and Katy does her homework and I listen to the radio or take a nap or whathave you but I couldn't handle the smoke it was so bad. So we went up to a few stores and just looked around.

Today is just chore day as is tomorrow and Thurs. They have a parents night out at the church this friday but I don't know if we will be able to get in on that because we just started and it may be full already.

Otherwise the only thing we have going on for this weekend is the girls are going to pick pomegranets from our tree and sell them this weekend. We try to do it every year and it gives them about 50 or 60 bucks spending money so they like it. :)

That's bout it for me. Hope everyone has a great day!
