WHAT you dont know that movie??? Get off the DIS and go see it because its funny. Its funnier with a few beers down you too.

I dunno. I don't really like movies where people are drunk and stupid, or just stupid. You know, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Cheech & Chong, much of Jim Carey's work (though I love The Mask!) and so forth. Years ago a few people at work just raved about Something About Mary, so I finally saw it. Didn't like it.

And I can't stand the taste of beer.

I didnt think Fast times at Ridgemont high was funny... Jim Carey is just an idiot.. But I love funny movies.. I like more fast paced stuff, action is fine if it is fast. But long drawn out stuff? YAWN. I dont have the patience. and dramas.. ICK. I dont want to cry!! I hate crying!! Make me laugh til I snort. Thats the ticket!

I have seen it, but I dont really remember it. Once, dh was working on a weekend, surprise!! I know.. But I couldnt sleep at ALL that night, so I went on a period flick thing. Every movie i could find that was set in that time that I could find On Demand, I watched. That was one of them.

No... that movie sucked. Just like 40yo Virgin. Supposed to be REALLY funny.. But it just wasnt my kind of movie. Now Superbad? Dh and I watched that on our "date night" OMG... SO FUNNY! Of course, we were half loaded at the time.

Ugh... I cant believe how many rides and shows are shut down through November this year! Pirates is supposed to open the weekend we get there, IASW will still be down, from what I hear, fantasmic will be down until mid December, and Alladin will be down! For crying out LOUD! We want to do SOMETHING while we are there!

Good morning, hyenas!
It is overcast, but rumor has it the sun will appear for most of the day. Guess we'll see about that...

The boys start their next round of swim classes today. DS4 will still be in the preschool beginner class (but with a new teacher), but DS7 will be moved up a level and hopefully remember and pick up quickly the skills from the previous time he was in this class. He had been doing really well just before he quit swim lessons last time (over a year ago), so I'm hoping he sticks with it this time.

DH is going to a neighbor's house today to help with some home exterior maintenance today. The owner of the house is actually the grandfather of one of DS7's best friends, and he hasn't been able to do proper maintenance on the house for awhile, plus he's been in the hospital off and on the past two months with health issues. He needed some cheering up, so his daughter decided to spruce the place up a bit for his return. DH said she's replacing the carpet today, and I think he said she was painting also, so I hope it looks really nice when they're all done.

Good Morning Sweet Hyenas! My project for the day....shampooing carpet! FUN, FUN, FUN.

Picked up my sister from the airport Thursday, she then picked up her DS on Friday and headed down to Medford to visit some friends and have a campout.

On the 12th all 3 of my nephews are flying in for the hearing on the 15th. One is in the Navy and the other two are in college. So at least the 1st half of August will be a bit crazy around here!

Since DH is helping the neighbor out this morning, I will be taking the boys to their 'sim cass' this morning. Though DS4 has corrected me: "Not 'sim cass', Mama! It's 'sawimm calassss'!" My baby's growin' up...

DH and DS7 are at a neighbor's house, helping with some home and yard improvement stuff. (Well, DH is helping, DS is playing with one of his buddies.)

DS4 just woke from nap and is begging to go see Daddy and all the hubbub, so I think we'll walk over there.

Good Evening Hyenas! I am so sore and exhausted. I steam cleaned the living room, dining room, both kids bedrooms, hallway, family room and master bedroom. Phew! Took me until 5pm.

Then I got the brilliant idea to also mop & wax the laundry room and kitchen floors. Everything looks clean and sparkling, except for me, I look tired!!

I did a big fat nothing today.. Actually, I did blow chunks a couple of times. Lucky me! Mikalah did too, so at least I didnt feel alone. We watched movies... that tends to be what we do on Saturdays. We watched The Princess Diaries, Nanny McFee, or Nanny McMuffin.. as Alex says.. and Dan, in the real life. and we cleaned house.. Sorta.

Also.. we are missing a library book. So we tore up the house this morning looking for it, and cant seem to find it anywhere. I am going to check the car next. OH!! Mikalah won a drawing at the library, she won a book bag. That was a little exciting. Alex was mad he didnt win, but what can you do? Maybe next time.
