:cutie: Oh wow, that is different. I bet it looks really cute.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Yes I totally laughed my butt off, felt bad people were hurt, but aren't most of the funniest videos on America's funniest home videos ones where people get hurt! :lmao:

And yes imagine her "guns" carrying around that tuba. Wonder if she does it behind enemy lines?:lmao:
Totally..:lmao: :lmao: Nothing funnier then some guy getting whacked in the nards!

I KNOW!! She would have been totally able to knock that parachuter off course if she was doing her JOB RIGHT!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
So there probably are rules as to how much of his check they can take, no? Or could they take every cent?

I BELIEVE it is 50%... But once they did mess up and give me his whole check.. Oh the TEARS I cried for him. :rolleyes1

Trust me what I wrote was very harsh on thinking supporting the troops consisted of material things like sending cookies only. What about respect and being grateful?
No DOUBT!!
What school did you guys go to??? The kids playing tuba were NOT the buff ones. :lmao:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I did like your post though. :)

oh, thanks! When I get all irritated, I tend not to be very eloquent with my words.. So I tend not make sense..

Hmmmm... The old mans birthday is Sunday, and we are going to make him a lemon cake. I thought the banana pudding would suffice.. But NO!! Alex tells me we have t bake him a cake tomorrow. The 3 of us.. OH BOY!!:lmao: This should be messy. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh wow. I shudder at the thought of getting 'help' from my two in the kitchen! :scared:

DH always says, "How come nobody ever told us that 'help' could be a four-letter word???" :lmao:

My kids LOVE to help me cook! Its soo good for them to help out in the kitchen. Mikalah even helps me do the dishes. Not WELL... But she tries. :lmao: :lmao: Its messy, and takes forever, but they love it.

Where on earth did the two of you go????

I had to go read the thread you two kept talking about. I'm stunned at some of the things people have said to soldiers or their families. But I shouldn't be; my dad served in Vietnam and he never told us until we were adults that he always hated walking through airports during that time. They were required to wear their dress uniform, I believe, and it was common to get comments, and one time he was spit on. :scared1:

such a terrible time in our history with the way veterans were treated. :sad1:

I'm dealing with girl stuff now. Popcorn, hot chocolate and movies. Hopefully they will lay down and watch it. ;)

Do you remember the show Major Dad?? I used to watch it all the time when I was younger.. They had an episode where the guys were coming home from Desert Storm, and the dad was having a hard time with it. They were all being regarded as hero's and had parades, and everyone was proud of them.. Then he was telling the story of when he came home from Vietnam, and how they had to be secretive about it, and all the protesters were attacking them. It was so sad.

My dad was to young to go to Vietnam, he joined up as it was ending.. But one of his most vivid memories was when the POWs came through where ever he was at the time.. I want to say the Philippines.. My dad was NOT a crier.. But he said that he just BAWLED when they came home. The sight of them being saluted when they got off the plane.. Can you imagine how moving that was?

I am old enough to remember watching news reports of the war every night on TV. And when they'd bring guys home at the end of the war. A door on the plane would open up and these guys would walk, hobble, wheel or be carried out of the plane, and then flag-draped coffin after coffin after coffin. Every night this went on. I was stunned at how many coffins, and how many guys with limbs missing, and this was at the end of the war. :sad2:

Okay gals.. I need to jump in the shower and hit the hay. Night!

I am jumping back and forth but my attention is needed in the family room.
