Good Morning Hyenas,

Sorry, I disappeared last night. I uploaded pics to Shutterfly, uploaded them to my flickr account, got sleepy, fell asleep, woke up and took a shower and dried my hair and tried to sleep earlier than usual. That didn't work out so well because I just laid there in bed until my bf came home from work.

I watched Cars and fell asleep.

Our HR manager brought us donuts today. I'm happy and now I just need some Starbucks or Jamba Juice to go with it.

I'm so happy I'm off tomorrow. I worked 1 1/2 hrs OT yesterday. I'm so not staying late today.....at least that is my plan.

you going to be attending on a blackout day the next time you go? If so it might be more economical to renew it on that day, because the day you renew it you get in automatically, even if it's a blackout day.

I WISH I had planned it as well as that.

Our passes expire in early Oct., so I was trying to figure out when to renew. Renew before Oct. I think would give us the 2008 pass price, plus a $10 discount for early renewal, IF they are still doing that. Or Renew in Dec. on our trip, which means the passes would be good to Dec. 2009, BUT would probably cost more with the 2009 cost increase.

I don't know when the prices go up, it is in the fall sometime, and I'm not sure if even renewing in Oct. is going to get me the lower price.

When I was nursing an infant (waking once or twice to nurse at night) and working FT I was getting only 4 - 5 hours sleep and it wasn't continuous, it was interrupted. I'm still kind of amazed I could even form a sentence, let alone think one up!

When I was nursing an infant (waking once or twice to nurse at night) and working FT I was getting only 4 - 5 hours sleep and it wasn't continuous, it was interrupted. I'm still kind of amazed I could even form a sentence, let alone think one up!

I know, it's really bad. When I lose a lot of sleep I start to have a bit of emotional stress and end up sleepy as heck. Not sure how to put it but it makes me feel blech. I really do need to sleep more. I just went home during my lunch break and took a nap. Then I was awakened by the phone ringing.

I bought Amp Energy drink from the local gas station just now a pack of cool ranch doritos. I know...what a healthy lunch.

This position was postead a few weeks ago, then dropped off the district web site.. I was all aww bummer someone got the job...

E applied for another job in the same district a week ago, haven't heard anything back.. This morning I looked at the website again to find the address to drop off his credentials to add to his file... and this position was listed again!

Snapped on the "apply" button, dropped off papers, ran to the boy's schools to pick up forms.

Came home and J says there was a message from N's school--- the principal wanted an interview

Call her back and she asks "can you come in an hour?"

SURE!

scurry to pull his suit and press it.. shower, shave.. and out the door.

The position is middle school science and math lab (helping students not meeting AYP), interestingly the job description online said it was a total of .75 (not full time) but the principal said it's full time!

I already looked at the benefits, full time staff only pay $125/mo for full health and dental (AND it's good insurance, E's nephrologist is in the network!)-- cheap life insurance, fully paid disability. They are on the Q comp system of pay (pay is tied with ability) which is slightly betterthan the basic pay scale required byt the state.

AND it's N's school, just a mile donw the street!!!

Please please please!!

I so want him to get this job!

I know I left without launching my pumpkin last night, stupid batch was alarming .. tried to torubleshoot and had to call the NXStage support line.. first thing he asks which numer SAK do you have..

I then have oneof those oh crap light bulb moments as I realize.. I bet he forgot to change the parameters on the machine
