So here is my weather update.


We finally got some rain. Yep some real rain last night because I went outside this morning and there was a tiny puddle in our rentention area of the back yard. YEAH! No watering the lawn today. If only I could have seen it happen.

hmm, sarah did that.. I think she took a screen shot of it.. it came out grainy but still looked okay.

I have no clue how to do a screen shot though

Reminds me, I got my CDs from the shared photopass and haven't even looked at them yet I want to make a few copies to send out to Megan, Melody, Pixie and have a few with my DNTheMarine tm that he and his dad would like.

I made good use of my shared photpass by going with the family and getting more pics done before the end date was due.

If I can convince my sis and mom to come on a trip we NEED to do a shared pass again

This wasnt one of those crazy stoms. We have yet to have those this summer unfortunately. I saw a little lightning but never heard anything and didnt get hit with a dust storm. I'm sad about that because I really love those storms. The meteorologist in me comes out!

This was a slow rain (which is rare here) that came from a tropical storm in the Mexican gulf. So not much activity from it but it did bring RAIN!!! I have about .01 in my rain gauge!!!

Ok so I spraypainted her face white with my paint program. didnt mean to.

and I had a little fun with it once I was in there.

Well today I take Kaitlyn to volleyball camp, and then retunn a top that didn't look so good with the skirt that I bought to go with it. Next I get dye for my hair to wash the gray out. Then I come home, to put my new vacuum to the test. It has a red and green light on it. Red: still dirty, Green: good to go. I thought that might be just a wasted feature, but most people who reviewed it, loved it. Then it has a simple touch for bare floors to carpet. We will see.........................

Yesterday, my Mom, Kaitlyn and I went to go see Kit Kitridge. What a cute movie!! But then I love the American girls. Becky has the first addition doll of Samantha. When I saw the American Girl store in Chicago, and went to look in the restaurant there, I started to cry. You have to understand that Becky loved that doll, and took her everywhere. She slept with her, and read stories to her...everything. So when I saw that store, I thought to myself, " I wish I could have taken Becky here, and had tea with Samantha sitting in a chair made just for her. There were little girls all dressed up, and all had their dolls sitting at the table with them. So I lost it. My little girl was already in college, just about ready to graduate.

Kaitlyn has Kirsten and Kaya, but tended to look at them, and not play with them as much. So it wouldn't have meant as much to her. She was more into animals.

Geesh............I'm crying right now remembering all of this. Where does the time go?

Awwwww! Morgan is just getting into them this past year. Well, she always wanted one but I told her she needed to be old enough to take care of it.

she has the Just Like Me doll. I found one with long blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. very cute. Next she is getting Julie for her birthday (shhhh) and she really wants Kit and Ruthie after seeing the movie. That was great wasn't it? We wanted to take her to the AG store in LA or Chicago for her birthday this year but I just couldnt justify that cost with the WDW trip 5 weeks after. I really like the new Mia doll too. She is beautiful. They all are aren't they.

Her best friends went to the one in LA for her birthday and said they dropped a fortune but it was all worth it and it was their best birthday ever.
