Man! I'm on a roll!

3 post in a row. :rotfl2:

I must be typing faster!

Hmmm... more wacky neighbor news.

Neighbor husband came over and chatted with DH; he needed help with something. Then when DH went outside for his walk, the husband was there as well and asked to go on the walk with him. DH figured he wanted to talk, so said that was fine.

He went on about how "hurt" his wife was, especially that DH had called her a bad word. DH clarified, "I did not call her that, I told her to pull her head out of her {butt}. And I apologized to her, several times, right after I said it. I should not have said it. I also apologized to you for it. I am done apologizing for it." (I told DH earlier that, once she's over herself, she was probably going to nag him to apologize again, and I told him he'd apologized enough, she has some apologizing to do.)

Her husband said, "Well, you raised your voice. She's very hurt by that." DH reiterated that he did indeed raise his voice. He said that she clearly was cranky, DH was tired, and it was just a bad deal all the way around. But other than the rude statement, he stood by everything else he'd said. (Good for him!) :thumbsup2

So her husband said, "Well, I think she's going to be mad about this for a while this time." DH said that was fine.

And quite frankly, I'm ecstatic! I'm looking forward to being in my backyard or front yard without being assaulted by her. Of course I'm not usually the one she comes over for anyway... But now I'm sounding catty... :cat:

So...who wants to join me in my romance novel?

Julie Garwood- my favorite!! She can get pretty steamy at times,:faint: but she does write a good fun book. I love the ones set in England and Scotland the best!!

That neighbor's wife sounds like a cook! :rolleyes1

I picked up one of those broasted chickens today to use for this recipe. Works great!
Awesome! This sounds like a great way to use up leftover chicken! We have a lot of leftover chicken, and I'm always struggling to find new things to do with it.

Thank you! :flower3:

Didn't you read Gina's 4th of July episode?? Oh my goodness!! It's like right out of a redneck movie!! You need to go back and find it. It's hilarious!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And the saga continues still today.

That's what I'm waiting for. To find out if she had to bail her DH out of jail!! :rotfl:

And shorly to remind you, that they didn't get any dessert!! :headache:
DS7 appeared to beg Daddy to tuck him in. DH told him to get to bed and he'd be up in a minute.

DS4 appeared, and asked Daddy for vessert. Daddy said, "What did Mama say?"

DS4: She say no.
Daddy: So what do you think Daddy's answer will be?
DS4, sounding hopeful: I don' know... Yes??? {Cue the cute smile}
Daddy: No.
DS4: Awwww, maaaaan!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That women was far too forward, and the way she is acting, and has always acted............sounds extremely insecure!!! If some women was talking like that to Dave, I would also be      !!!!

At least grandma isn't around because when the parents say no, that's when you ask grandma! ;)

I love romance novels. Especially the steamy ones! ;)

I have one I've been dragging around for MONTHS, to all the swim classes, gymnastics and so forth. I just get so distracted watching the class! I'm probably gonna have to start at the beginning again, because every time I pick it up I can't remember what's going on. :rotfl:
