Alex, did you hear the bad news. Starbucks is closing down 600 of it's stores in the US.

I did hear! There are three within about a mile of us; one is the best one, but also the furthest away; another is a drive-through, very convenient so I don't have to take the kids in; and the third is the closest, but sometimes their service is slow. So I wonder if one of them will close? They're all very busy, but the drive-thru one just opened this year, I think.

Because they are too embarrased to let anyone on the other car forums know they drive a Kia Spectra. My apologies in advance to anyone here driving a Kia Specta.

We have 2 of them in our town. Our population is 3,700, with a draw area of about 10,000. Don't know why we need two of them located about 100 yards from each other, but apparently we do!

They have over 15,000 company operated stores, so doubt if 600 will make a dent. Said they were only closing under-performing stores.

CRAP!

We need to give DS4 this oral steroid med; I picked it up today and waited until DH was home so we could try to give it to him together.

DH first mixed it up in a batch of Gatorade, then tasted it. He said it was horrible, and he had trouble getting the taste out of his mouth.

He said there was NO WAY DS would drink that, so we tossed it, and mixed a 2nd dose into some chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce. Again DH tasted it, and again gagged. Since DS has a very strong gag reflex anyway, there is just NO WAY he will eat this! I'm so frustrated, but I know he's right.

So now what??? He's itching like crazy, and I don't know what else to do. I'll call the doc tomorrow and tell her the med was a no go.

Eek, that's not good. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully the doctor can give you something less icky.
