well, I think I am going to grab a quick nap, and go get some dinner if the kids don't call...just called dh and informed him we are gonna have dinner and a meeting in the BR (not that kind of meeting...just a place we go for private time) with a movie when done ... Have you guys heard of etsy.com? I just heard about it from someone who sells stuff there; she was telling me to look there for a guy she buys fragrance-free handmade soap from. (This is related to DS's eczema problems.)

Well, I'd never heard of etsy before, so I started poking around there today. It looks like it's a bunch of people who sell handmade items of all kinds! WHEEEEEE! It's like an electronic craft fair!!!

My bf was approached by the billing dept manager at his pharmacy. He asked if he would consider working in billing rather than the department he's currently in. He said he would try to offer him higher pay and also it would be less of a headache on my bf.

My bf said okay and the manger said it would take 3 weeks before he could switch. I'm not sure why....oh and the billing dept. manager talked to my bf's manager and his manager was pissed. He asked why they would want to take my bf and not someone else.

That does seem odd; are pharmacy billing folks typically pharmacy techs? I would have guessed they'd look for some sort of billing background. Still, it doesn't sound like his current boss is doing a good job, so I hope if your BF likes the job that he gets it!

Sorry, I disappeared. I had to finish up an e-mail to my customer (he wants to expedite EVERYTHING!)

I'm not sure about the change in my bf's work hours. I think they will remain the same. I think they are still discussing that.

I believe he did some billing before. You just basically make a long to phone calls to the facilities I guess. I'm not sure about the procedure but I know he did help them out in the past.

He currently does data entry, calls facilities and hospitals, supervises at night and is the work flow coordinator. It's really sad because 2 of the pharmacists he was close to quit recently. There is one pharmacist in particular that drives him crazy. He keeps asking my bf questions all the time and finally someone sitting close to my bf asked the pharmacist: "Aren't you a pharmacist?? You should know these things!"

My bf also said that his co-workers are lazy and do not help to answer the phones. It just rings and rings and he ends up answering the phones and helping out the doctors and nurses who call. It's really ridiculous.

His current manager is a wuss and he's actually a terrible manager. He always leaves really really early and could care less of how things are going. When my bf tried to quit last year, the regional manager was there and asked my bf to stay.
