I truly can't imagine how she feels, but now is the time to gather information, not start causing problems.

uh oh.. hope that doesn't backfire, then again.. she does have video tape and witnesses to show that he was acting differently. :confused3

It's gotta be hard.. that incident would throw me into a panic.
Purposefully giving a sleep med during the day is abusive.. to Tyler, not just to his family.

I hope the attorney can use that info in the case.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

dang, NxStage has it all wrong. They should have cheap Made in China items instead of the thousand dollars fo metal and plastic we got....

Made in Mexico

:rotfl2:

Yep, Mexico is where all the high quality products are now made. It seems that the unskilled labor moved up from Mexico, so all of our high skilled workers laid off are now moving to Mexico so they can live cheaply. Give it another 10 years and the brightest minds in the world will be living and working in Mexico.:thumbsup2

You know I always wondered why they didn't just open up the Mexico border and invite them to join the US.:confused3 They need jobs, we need beautiful vacation/resort land in a sunny climate, many of them appear to enjoy living in the US, I'm sure we would love to exploit & pollute their land. I think it's a win/win situation, well except for the corrupt police and drug lords!:lmao:

Okay, time to head back to work. Today is our busiest day and I'm going crazy! :faint: I'll probably end up staying late :(

Talk to you guys later. pixiedust:

Bye Pix! Have a Great Day!!

:lmao: :lmao:

He wouldn't know.. he doesn't pee at all.

:rotfl2:

wow, so did the red devil burn on the way out??

Used diasylate smells skunky, that's all I got. :upsidedow

Oops, forgot that. Nope, no burning, but it was very pretty.:thumbsup2

I got so mad at my dad during my last visit with him, he made some ugly comments about illegals. Saying his great grandparents (Finland) were the "real immigrants"

I was like umm dad?? You do realize who I'm married to right? :rolleyes1

E's grandmother was born in Mexico--her parents lied and said she was born in US when they crossed the border (she was 6 months old).

The boys have a friend that has been here since he was 2 yrs old, still illegal.

That's just wrong :headache:

ohhhh, and MIL's job is going to Mexico. Since she is Latino, of course it's HER fault that the "darn Mexicans" are "taking our jobs". She said "you are so stupid, blame the company for moving .. stupid country hicks!" :headache:

:rotfl2:

So how long does the E's home dialysis take? He does it every day now correct??

Now hopefully I don't start a riot on the DIS boards, but I have no problem with illegal aliens. The majority of them are people that are starving in their own countries and all they want is to make a decent living and feed and clothe their children...just like everyone in the world wants to.

I truly wish there were some other way to go about it and that they didn't have to be illegal, but honestly if I were in their situation I think I would do exactly the same thing.

It's time to just open up the borders. Of course that could cause a slight shift in the earth's rotation as everyone rushes out of Mexico, but it would eventually be offset by everyone that headed down there to build a vacation home on the water!:thumbsup2

He has the choice of 5 to all 7 days a week, about 2 1/2 hrs a run. But set up takes us 25 minutes and rinse back takes awhile as well.

Because of that.. it takes just as long as incenter, but overall it's a better method and he's healthier because of it. :goodvibes

OMG! Don't tell me that your great great grandparent was one of "those immigrants", you know the ones that so savagely tossed the native americans off their lands!:rotfl:

My grandfather used to be the same way about the Japanese. He fought in WWII, so anyone that was even remotely Asian looking he was suspicious of. Yeah, grandpa, that Asian bag boy at the store is probably looking to infiltrate our country, one grocery bag at a time!:thumbsup2 :lmao:

I totally agree with you!

well maybe not the shift in rotation, that would not be a good thing :lmao:

There's a movie called Day After Tomorrow, the world is hit by climate change.. deep freeze, snow .. there's a scene showing US people desperately trying to enter Mexico to escape the storm. ... and Mexico won't let them in :lmao:

We laughed our butt off.

Eventually Mexico let's people in, after US waived all of it's loans. :rotfl2:

Maybe, they were given 100 acres to homestead in MN.

They had to "build their own house, there wern't even roads" as dad said.. I wanted to ask.. did they have to walk 5 miles barefoot in the snow too? :rotfl2:

That's great, plus you save the drive time as well. Glad he's doing so well on it. Sure would be great if you could find a good coupon at Kidney's R Us and just be done with all of this dialysis!:thumbsup2

You know when we had to let my mother off life support one of the first things I asked was if she could be a donor. My stepdad was very upset with the idea and didn't want her body disturbed anymore. Plus we checked her driver's license and she didn't have the organ donor thing printed on it.

I am very adamant about organ donation, so it kind of bothered me. But I did honor my stepfather's wishes. Although if it had been on her driver's license I think I would have fought him over it.

DH & I are both listed as organ donors and if anything ever happened to us or the kids I have made sure that all of our immediate family knows we want any and everything donated.

Well I need to get my rear back to work. Hope you have a great afternoon!

That's wonderful to be a potential donor.. and letting family know your wishes is very important.

If I can't be a donor, then my body goes to University of MN for their medical school. Hubby too.

The U gives back the cremains, about a year later.

Can we say FREE cremation? :thumbsup2

Cost effective disposal of a body.. AND put to good use. I think that will be the ultimate thrifty moment of my lifetime :goodvibes

E's mom keeps offering a kidney-- but she can't be a donor, she's at risk for failure herself and has a messed up medical history.

E's sis surprised me and offered to be a donor, not being pushy either.. which hubby appreciated.

From what we have read/heard is that many former (failed) transplants prefer short daily dialysis over having another transplant.
The meds are VERY hard on the body the first year.

I don't remember if anybody else was planning a trip for DL this year, but just in case, the AP7 rates are out for AP holders. Rates are good through Dec. 18, I think. BUT they are going like hotcakes!!!

I just found out about it (they came out this morning) and booked a stay in December, and half the days were already gone (booked), so we'll pay full price (minus the usual AP discount) for those dates. Whew!

So DH has this thing about switching hotels mid-stay (as in HE WON'T, don't ask me why because it makes no sense to me), and we could not afford to stay at the GCH at full-price, so we are at the DLH as usual, and grateful to have gotten what we did. We're going to see Disneyland with all the holiday decor!!! I'm soooo excited!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Now... what to do for dinner? :scratchin

Well... It looks like Alex didnt move up, and he was WAY bummed. I told him what he needed to work on, and he was ALL over it in class today. TO LATE! Should have done it last time. You know... when we were telling you to? Whatever, it makes him want to try harder, instead of loafing around.

waiting on DH to get home...i want to talk about this little trip tomorrow...I don't want to go...I am so tired from WDW
