I'm still not quite sure how it happened. He was dressed (in a pull-up and shorts) at the time.

So did he drop trou to do the deed? And if so, WHY???
Or did he go in his shorts? But if so, how did it get OUT of the pull-up???

Indeed. That is a killer idea for road trips. We might try that out as a family on our next one. No stopping until we get to Disneyland kids!!!

DS4 did not, but DS7 moved up to the next class. He can't wait, and I'm so glad he's enthusiastic about swimming again! I hope it keeps up!

The wonder of small children, eh? I have been meaning to ask you how he has been doing with it.

He pooped in the toilet the one time, and got a cool set of cars from Daddy for it, as well as TONS of praise!

He hasn't used the toilet since. I encouraged him yesterday, but he didn't go. So I reminded him this morning that "Daddy would be SOOOO HAPPY if you put your poop in the toilet today!" He got all excited and said, "OK!!!" like we were in on some big secret together.

Then there's poop on the carpet.

I know a lot of kids don't want to flush it away. And one of my GF's son pooped in the tub as a toddler, and FLIPPED OUT because he thought his stuffing was coming out!

Poor baby was crying and trying to scoop it all up as she was grabbing him out.
