RE Chatham park We stayed there about four years ago,It is on 192 about a fifteen minute drive from Disney, but if you go onto Osceola parkway (toll road) no traffic lights, seems shorter. We found it to be a very convenient location,There is a massive Walmart only a mile away. The estate can be reached by going down Poinciana Boulevard roughly a mile then turn left onto siesta lago rd,or straight off 192 itself onto siesta lago rd.The estate itself is nice and quiet, there is a communal pool if the villa doesnt have one,and also tennis courts and a kids playground,We never encountered any bother there, but there was a security guard as you enter the site,Also if you go straight across the lights at Poinciana crossing at 192 you can take the back rd 535, to international drive and Seaworld and Universal. All in all we found it a very nice location. Bluebell.

Hi

We've stayed here a couple of times and also across the road at Hamiltons Reserve.
As said above the location is great. Close to shops and restaurants etc. We first stayed here in 1994.

Thanks for the info, sounds like a nice place.
Only thing is , the price I was quoted seems to be incorrect and I'm not getting such a good rate as I first thought, hoping to find another villa on this estate though

We have booked a villa in Chatham Park this October for £375 per week, let me know if you want the web site.

Stayed at Chatham Park last year and found the location ideal, just off the 192.

The only reservation I have about the properties is that most of them are at least 7 years old, I guess it depends on how the owner keeps the property up to date.
Personally I would not book one over 3 years old, they get so much 'stick' from the weather you do take a bit of a chance with older homes.
Although like I said it is up to the owners to keep them looking good.

Indian Point is where we stay , again some of the homes are older but there are newer ones too on the same development.
Again the location is good just off the 192, a few minutes away from Chatham.

Had a nasty experience with a home in the Davenport area where the home was 10 years old, the web site did not reflect the fact the property had been neglected, still that's another story...
