Chase Visa Character Meet: Anyone done this recently?

So how long does it take for the 5x7 to print? Just wondering if it prints automatically, and you then get in another line, or is it something that take's longer to print out. My husband signed up for the card for this trip, and got an email about the time frame (I think it's been extended). I also wondered, is this a perk you get with every single trip you book to Disney on the credit card? Or is this a one time offer. (From reading a previous post, i'm believing you can do this with every vacation that is booked on the credit card).

the pics are not printed in the meet n greet room.
i believe you can go to the photo store at the front of the park any time after 5pm to look at the pics and have one printed off for you.
this is a perk of simply having the credit card not of using the credit card to purchase your vacation package.
you can do it every trip.
in fact you can do it ONCE A DAY although i've only ever done it once a trip.

We just did this for the first time in late January. It was very simple.
There was one large family in line in front of us and one family in the room. Our wait was maybe 5 mins.
Showed our DV and got our free photo voucher.
Saw Mickey and Goofy together. So fun to get the characters interacting together.
Later in the day we swung by the photo center. No line at all. It just takes a few minutes to pull up pictures, decide and print.

My only complaint is the CM would not tell me ahead of time which characters we would meet. We just got the Junior Encyclopedia of Disney Characters for our autograph book and I was concerned I would waste time finding the characters in the book, so I didn't bother getting autographs. Not a big complaint.

We will add this to our to-do each trip!

We went in October and had about a 20 minute wait, with several large groups with kids in front of us. I expected a much longer wait figuring various groupings. This time we had Mickey and Minnie and Goofy. The long wait was at the photo shop to pick up the pictures at the end of the evening - after Illuminations. We do this every trip. It is a nice perk from Disney Visa.

We got 2 vouchers because I showed my Disney Visa and the Rewards card.

You were able to get a second voucher with the Rewards card? Did you just hand them both cards or did a second member of your party give them the rewards card?

We did this for the first time in November. It was the first thing we did on our arrival day. Myself, sister, BIL, my mom and stepdad. My sister was 5 months pregnant and had just found out what they were having a few days before we left. So they thought to do their gender reveal with a picture from this meet and greet, it was awesome! We had Minnie and Pluto. They had the characters hold the "It's a Girl!" sign and the photopass photographers took pics and had us turn around to see the reveal. It was just after 1pm on a Wednesday and the line was not too bad, we waited probably 20 minutes. We got our free photos and it was really fun. I don't remember how long it actually took for the photo to be printed. We spent the day there and picked it up on our way out of the park at around 7:30pm.

they are not allowed to tell you because is supposed to be a "surprise" but after you've done it a few times you come to realize that the combos are usually mickey/goofy, mickey/pluto, minnie/goofy, or minnie/pluto
people have reported that sometimes they've seen 3 of those 4 characters at once but i don't believe there would be any different characters than the 4 i listed.

Thanks for the info! Nice knowing, I don't necessarily have to purchase the vacation on the card, and that I can do it on multiple days. And any M&G with Mickey & Minnie for a short wait is nice

Went mid January and had a short line for the pictures to be taken. Had Pluto and Mickey. Line to print was short as well. So all was good. We also went September last year but had Mickey Minnie and Goofy. That was a triple.

We just did this a couple of weeks ago. We arrived at Innoventions around 6:00, no one else in line, went right in and saw Minnie and Pluto! We went to the camera center at the end of the night while Illuminations was going on, again, no one in line in front of us. After deciding what picture we wanted it was about 1 minute for it to be printed and we were on our way to the buses! I just wish we had went earlier in the trip as well, I will definitely be taking advantage of this perk going forward!

We tried to go the last two Spring Breaks and have never been successful. 30+ minute waits the week leading up to Easter or maybe we just have bad luck but we try every trip.

We waited about ten minutes to meet Minnie and Pluto on 01/26. I love that they don't try to rush you through!

This year we learned we didn't have to get in the long line at the Epcot camera center at the end of the night to get our printed photos. We went to Animal Kingdom the next day and received our print at the camera center there with no line. The photopass employee at AK had to call for help to put the vouchers in the computer.

Just did it this month. We had a chance of either Minnie & Pluto or Mickey & Goofy. We ended up getting Mickey & Goofy. They opened at 1PM and we got there at 1:40....probably waited 15-20 minutes. Then it took an hour for the photo to be ready. But the line at the camera shop was horrendous. We were on line for about 45 minutes with only 4 people in front of us in line.... People were treating this location as their personal computer stop, as they looked through all their vacation photos. If they are going to offer a promotion like this, I feel like they should either A) have more CMs on register or B) Police the situation a bit and push the fact that they can look through their photos on the website at anytime and do not need to do it in-park.

Yes, all photos from the session go on your Memory Maker/Photopass account.

The rewards redemption card is not typically accepted. The PP got lucky. You are allowed ONE free pic PER ACCOUNT. The Visa and the redemption card would be for the SAME account.

We get two free pics daily because we have both the Visa and the debit. We have picked up our pictures as soon as 20 minutes after our session. We normally see two characters, but three is always a nice treat! One of my faves...
