Does anyone have this card? I was wondering how it works. How long can you"bank" your points for? Can i save my earned points for 2 yrs to use on our trip to WDW or do they expire each yr? Is there an annual fee, hidden fees? What is the interest rate? does it change alot or is it fixed?
My plan is to get one and use it for all our normally monthly bills to earn points on stuff we pay anyways. and pay it off each month (we are very very good at paying our cards off each month). So we can earn extra cash for our trip. any help would be great!!!!:confused3 I just don't know about it.

No fees, as of right now you can save points for 5 years, somewhere on these boards there's a $100 signup bonus so you'll want to look for that. No idea about the interest rate because we always pay it off, so I don't worry about it but I don't think it's changed. I remember thinking it was low for a credit card but it may depend on your credit.

I just got ours back in January of this year, I believe. I'm not sure the exact number of yrs the points are good for but I know that the earliest any of my points expire are in the year 2014. I do exactly what you said in that we put on several monthly bills onto the Disney card and then pay off the balance. I believe that for every $100 you put on the card, you earn $1 Disney reward dollar. Since January, I've added up nearly $200 on there. Our next trip to WDW is planned for December 2011 so I'm hoping to have at least double that available on the card for us when we go. I don't have an annual fee and I haven't found any hidden charges (at least not in the short months I've had it). I'm not sure what our interest rate on the card is but we pay it off before the bill is due so we haven't dealt with that.

I've had my card for a couple of years and only got it to get disney points. We have exchanged ours in twice (we do it each year when heading down). I have gotten between $150-$200 each time. They send you a Disney "credit" card with the points the first time and then after that you can reload the one you have. I have had no problems- it's a great way to get extra Disney money. I let my kids use it for souveniers.

Thanks for the info everyone, I am still on the fence but i think i will talk it over with DH seems like a great deal:cool1:

I have the card, since 2007. Can you use the Reward Dollars towards payment of your actual trip? (ie, onsite accomodations, park tickets, meal plans, etc) We have $355 reward dollars saved and hope to double that by our trip next year. Thanks!

Yes, you can always pay on your trip with a Disney rewards card. The rewards card works just like a credit card. DH and I both have a Disney visa that we pay off each month and use the rewards for our WDW trips. The Disney visa card is great if you are planning a trip because you pay zero interest for 6 months anytime you book a Disney vacation.

Yes! This is why we got the card in 2007 intially. So excited to be able to use the rewards for our trip! Thanks for answering!

I've only had the card since March so I don't know about changes in APR. I'm pretty sure mine is 12.9% but I pay it off in full so I don't pay alot of attention to the APR.
