Charter Cable Telephone Service

Has anyone subscribe to Charter Cable Telephone Service? It is unlimited local/long distance for 39.95/mth. If so, how was the connection and service ? TIA

Hey I Live in St Louis also , I got charter phone about month ago . The last storm we had where alot people lost electric for days about 2 weeks ago we lost our phone and Cable from Charter, I called the repair line got a recording saying all services were out all around. My boss at work still had his cable so I know that wasnt true. The phone and cable were working the next morning around 8am so that was good thing. I previously had SBC and in 8yrs dont ever remember the phone going out in a storm so Im gonna give the service a little bit but if it continues to happen I will switch back. When they came for the hook up they had to run a line on my house and a box in the basement with all sorts lights on? strange i thought but there service is cheaper that SBC.

Well if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We do not have Telephony here in Michigan but I work for Charter Communications and I was trained on it because we are Virtual with Wisconsin that does have telephony. Again, any questions please do not hesitate to ask!

Also, you can call Charter and they would have given you a credit for your services because it went out. Just a little FYI.....

I have cable internet from Adelphia and I use Vonage for my Telephone service. I pay 24.99 for unlimited calls in the US and Canada. It is a VOIP system and I have had 0 problems with it. I fired my local phone company and I am saving a lot of money.

The one thing everyone likes about Telephony is you can have everything on one bill and you save money but having more products. You can have your cable, internet and phone on one bill and you get it at a discounted rate.

Thanks for all the replies. My Dh thinks that it would be a bad idea due to weather/rainstorms and service. I'm tired of having a expensive phone bill from SBC.

We are regulated by the FCC so we have very strict mandates that we have to follow in regards to 911 and our telephony. Our services also do not go out during bad weather. I wish I lived in an area that had telephony. I have tried it during training and it's great! Besides you can your internet, cable and phone on one bill. Right now the price for everything ranges from 98.99-129.99 before taxes.
