It's over here folks...but it was scary.....deaths have been reported and there is a lot of terrible damage........winds came in at 105 and were sustained at that level for 2 hours. It's past my area as well as Disney. I'll never ride another one this big out again. You wonder (after it's too late) if you are going to make it.
I have some exterior and interior wall damage but that's it. Power is still on here but I can't tell what the extent of the damage around here is.

The storm is headed for Stanford and Casselberry now...so keep those folks in your prayers. This is still a very dangerous storm and it is destroying almost everything in it's path... No report on WDW damage....but I'm sure there is..........Won't know until day light how much.

Holy Cow Tony! 105 inland!?! While it stinks that you have some damage I am so glad you are safe and sound. I have yet to talk to my family in Cape Coral, but heard thru my other brother that like you they are safe and dealing w/some damage. I am hopeful all others are o.k. as well.

You hear the wind roar and howl.....water is coming down sideways........trees breaking...transformers blowing up....At one point my windows and patio doors were buckeling....as the eye passes over the pressure builds up in the house and it makes your ears pop!! It isn't anything I'll ever do again.

It usually takes a lot to shake me up. I had no idea what I was in for tonight. After I got home and found out this thing had grown to a category 4 I didn't have time to go anywhere. Luckily it dropped to a category 2 by the time it went through here. There would not be anything left it it had been a 4 here tonight.....

I'm going to bed.........I'll get out of here in the morning and check out the damage.

We are still awaiting the arrival of the storm up here.

Leaving wasn't a choice here. Gotta' stay. Job Requirements. Just hoping the storm takes one last "zig" to the south and we avoid the brunt.

We are okay as well! From what I can see, we have no damage. We are just north of Disney. The worst of the winds just skimmed Disney and Windermere. Universal and Sea World took direct hits. I'm sure they will have more damage than Disney. It was not fun. I'm glad it's over for us. Amazingly, we have power. They said that close to 500,000 homes in Florida are currently without power. One very sad note. A moving van fell over onto a car carrying a family of five. A five year old little girl was killed. I'm sure tomorrow there will be many more sad stories. We are saying some prayers of thanks tonight.

Ferlapeg...so glad to hear you and your DD are o.k....thank you for the update on the parks...I know people are the #1 priority, but I have been wondering about all the animals at AK,SW and Busch Gardens. Howtragic for the family....I am hoping there are very few cases.....
