Charging to Rooms

Hey everyone

Im stopping at Santa Fe hotel the first week in March and was just wondering if you can charge to the room? Like you can in Walt Disney World. Do you get a key card or anything that could be put on your bill at the end of the week?

You can indeed.

When you check in you will be given the option of leaving a credit card imrint at the front desk. You then use your 'Hotel Easy Pass' to pay for things in the park and in certain restuarants and shops in Disney Village.

Does anyone know where I could find out which restaraunts accept the Hotel Easy Pass? We are wanting to eat at Planet Hollywood, Annettes and Rainforest Cafe plus one other that we havent decided on.

Annettes certainly will do however both Planet Hollywood and the Rainforrest Cafe are not owned by Disney (AFAIK) and therefore they don't allow you to use the Hotel Easy Pass.

Another quick question...... so I tried to book a character breakfast for the 5th of March and a birthday tea for the 4th and when I phoned up they said I was not available to book it until a week before my trip!!!

Is this correct?

I personally thought it was longer than that...I thought it was 30 days. To be honest you'll be ok just booking the week before you go. We have been in the Summer Peak Times and still been able to book on the day for where we wanted.

Another quick question...... so I tried to book a character breakfast for the 5th of March and a birthday tea for the 4th and when I phoned up they said I was not available to book it until a week before my trip!!!

Sorry but I think you've been given the wrong info there, it happens sometimes
Were you adding the meals to your package ? In which case there should be no problem whatsoever booking anytime before your trip, I telephoned Tuesday night and added the Lucky Nugget Character Lunch and a Birthday Cake to our trip starting on the 12th March, if you do it this way you make payment there and then.
If you were booking a reservation via the reservations line then it used to be 30 days, but I was under the impression that changed to 60 days beforehand last year. If you use the reservation line it is a reservation only and you don't pay in advance.
