Charging to Room: Teens

We will be in Disney soon and wondered if teens (15/16) were able to charge meals, etc. to our room using their magic bands. Is there an age restriction?

If you want them to have the ability, let them know what the PIN is. If you don't want them to have the ability, don't give them the PIN.

My kids have been charging since they were tweens. I had the concierge set separate PINs on their magic bands just to see who was buying what (as predicted my daughter spent at least 5 times more than my son). I don't think you can put a cap on their band's charging limit, but I could be wrong.
You can also give them your PIN if it's easier.

My kids know the pin. I trust them to only spend what they know they’re allowed.

When it comes to mobile ordering, since it is run off the My Disney Experience app, if they are included in your reservation party, then they can use the app to order food, and it will automatically charge to whatever credit card you have linked in MDE. Ordering food via MDE doesn't require a PIN.
