Hello,
What other options are there besides CC to allow charging to MB'S and activating during online check in?

Debit card? I think you have to have a CC of some kind linked to your account to charge with the MB.

I believe it has to be a credit or debit card. Not sure if you're aware but the card is just held on file. When you use your MB you are charging to the room account and then that is applied to the card on file. The individual charges don't hit your card. You can always go to the front desk every couple of days to pay off the balance on your room account with some other method (cash/GC) so that the charges are not applied to the credit/debit card on file.

Also, there are limits to how much you can charge tot he room until Disney will automatically charge the CC. The limit is based on where you stay: value, mod, deluxe.

Yes- good point! There has also been some feedback on the DIS - some from me personally- that guests have been having their cards on file charged well before the resort limit had been reached. This happened to me at CSR in December. Our limit was supposed to be $1000 but our card was charged about midway through our trip at $600 and then again at the end for another $300 which was the remaining balance. This had never happened on previous trips.

Maybe they are hitting the card either at the limit or after x number of days?

I'm not sure. It wasn't a big deal for us because we planned to charge our CC but it would have been an issue for someone who wanted to pay with a different method. We certainly were not at our limit even at the end of the trip! Who knows!?! :confused3
