Charging on KTTW

At what age did you or would you let your kdi get a charging feature on their KTTW card?

I think that my oldest DS was 13 and my youngest was 12. There really wasn't a need before that because they were always with us. I really think that it depends upon the kid and how comfortable you are with whether or not they might take advantage of charging. My kids usually asked first or told me afterward, and it was primarily for a pin or a snack. It was convenient to send them to the store at the resort for milk or yogurt if they could charge.
