Charging back to the room key

We will be on the dining plan. However there may be couple mornings we order a hot breakfast from the food court where we want to charge it back to the room key for several reasons (not carrying too much cash) but NOT use a CS credit for our breakfast.

Will they automatically take off a CS credit if we ask to charge back to the room?

No. Just tell them you want to use room charge. I think they even ask specifically if it's dining plan or not.

When you're paying for your food just tell the cashier you want to charge it back to the room and not use the DP. Check your receipt afterwards just to verify that's what they did.

Be sure to tell them when you hand them your card that you want it charged to your room.

Do check your receipt to make sure they don't accidentally take off a meal credit, though.

But we did this for every breakfast for 5 days in September (two rooms, 4 adults) and there never was a mistake made. I think the cashiers are all used to all the different options people take.

Great thanks! Now the key will be to remember to tell the husband that when I send him down to grab breakfast. Most mornings we will be eating a light breakfast in the room and but every few days it's nice to get a yummy breakfast sandwich.
