Charges to room key?

I know they take a credit card for charges to your room. Does anyone know the amount? Can you ask for a lower amount? Just a little concerned as we will allow DD18 and DDBF19 to charge on their room keys but in case they lose them, don't want a stranger to charge up the whole credit card. Has anyone lost their room keys and had someone charge on them? What does Universal do in these cases?

They will ask you what level you want--I think up to $500 per day. If you feel better, you can just have charging privileges on your room key. They could use a pre-loaded gift card of some sort.

I think you can set an amount on the key. They just asked if wanted charging privileges and we said yes for me and DH but no for DS-11. You should be able to set an amount for the DS's keys.

Also a word to the wise - sign the back of your keycard. At one store in IOA, they wouldn't let us use the card because it wasn't signed and I didn't have photo id with me. This was the only trouble we had.

The keycard charging is great and use the package delivery to your room. This way we didn't have to carry much around with us.
