Charged extra $10 on shipboard account

I just got back from my Alaska cruise and looked at my credit card statement and I have an extra $10 charge (separate charge).

I have called DCL and they are looking into it, but I can't figure out what it might be.

I called my mom (who travelled with me) and went over what we took from the room (postcards, paper, envelopes, pen, paper glass tops).

Any ideas? Has anyone else been charged an extra $10? Were we not supposed to take the postcards?

I got that charge too on our August Fantasy cruise and was wondering. So, its the laundry bag, that I didn't take? I was going to just let it go but that's ridiculous. I'm going to call.

Was it even there to begin with? It wouldn't be the laundry bag was missing already but didn't get reported on the previous guests, ends up reported missing after your cruise. You should be able to get the charge dropped, but it's a hassle.

Yes, the laundry bag was there. My mom even remembers seeing it and thinking not to put it under the life jacket because they might not see it and charge us for it.

It sure is a hassle as I am Canadian, I will still have to pay a couple of dollars due to exchange. I was charged $10.65 and will probably only get a $9.00 credit back (depending on the dollar that second ).

Dang, laundry bag went up to $10? Wow, it was $5 a few years ago. I always show it to the host the last night so I don't get charged. Make sure they understand I'm not taking it.

It is a cloth laundry bag. and about all you can do is call DCL and state that you did not take the laundry bag from the room.

Red pillow would run you about $200!

Sounds like the $10 laundry bag charge is common.

We left the stateroom attendant an extra tip too. Maybe not enough to his liking?

I have cruise several times (not with Disney) and have never had this issue.

I always take the the laundry bag, especially since I know there's a good chance I'll get charged for it either way. A great souvenir!

I think I remember seeing an extra $10 charge on my bill. Silly me, I did not even question it. We cruised in July - is it too late to call. I know we did not take a laundry bag and not even sure if one was in there.

We also tipped our room attendant way above the recommended amount. I hope DCL does not pull a fast one - since like me, many probably don't even question it.

You can buy the pillow at Disney store online. It is $189. The first time I saw it I thought "oh no that must be a misprint" So I called. Yes it is $189
Is it made out of gold or stuffed wit Disney Dollars?

This is what I'm thinking of doing. If I'm going to get charged for it anyway, I may as well take it.
