We have a 2 bedroom this summer and are sharing it with DSIL and her kids. Can I put a credit card on our room account but only have it available to DH and myself and the other KTTW cards can't charge back to the room? If not, we just won't put one on at all (I don't want to worry about extra charges or anything).

Thanks,
DJ

You can select which key cards can charge and which cannot charge to the room

I agree with DVC1998, you can choose which cards to have charging rights. It's not an issue for us right now since our children are so small, but many people will not have charging put on their childrens' KTTW cards to avoid getting surprise charges. (I can just see it, "Johnny, you spent $250 dollars at the ARCADE? You're dead meat!)

I don't know if you can have two credit cards on the account, and key her cards to charge to her credit card. I've never tried it, maybe someone here has or you can check when you check in.

Have a super trip!

Thanks! I hadn't thought of that. I'm not sure if she would want her card on her KTTW. Last time, she didn't, so it probably isn't something she would want to do (last time we had two studios).

No, you can't have two cards keyed to one room - it's one card per villa. You can absolutely decide who gets charging privileges, so it would be easy at checkin to specify that you and your husband are the only ones with charging privileges. Since you are in a DVC villa, your limit will be $1500.00. Once you get to that amount, they will authorize another $1500.00 to your room, and so on. Of course you can go by the front desk at any time and look at your charges.
