My kids will in their own room and I want to limit what they can spend. Can I set a limit on the amount that can be charged on my credit card or put cash on the room account?

I know before MB's we could put limits on the individual key cards. We did this with our oldest DD.

You did not say how old your kids are but if they are in their own room I would assume at least late teens? Just tell them what the limit it. By that age they can comprehend how much they are spending. I do that with my kids. They know if what they are buying is something that I would approve of.

My sons are 18 anf 16 but are both bringing friends as well. Can I deposit cash?

you can't have a "negative" balance on your account - my suggestion would be to give them disney GC and let them use those instead of charging and just turn off the charging to the room other than if you have the dining plan

Yep, this. Just give them some gift cards.

Also On your bill it will show you each purchase and who made the purchase. So you will know what they charged. Also their friend can have their own credit card on their magic band.
