Princess Libby - Love your writing/storytelling style. Title sucked me in! Freaking hilarious. Can't wait to hear about the trip. Hubby and I are taking our first trip to WDW in Dec and staying at AKL. He has been converted to a Disney lover over the years (we live near DL/DCA)

Ohmy, that will be SO fun, AKL is such a beautiful resort, I'm in love with it.

Hahaha, the girl on twitter was MegMillah. I know this because we were trying to figure out how to pack our bows (which btw I FORGOT MINE. WHAT?) and she came up with that brilliant idea! Perfect.

You're such a good mommy to Meeko! It's precious. We love our kitties, nothing wrong with that! And I'm in total agreement that mocha frappes are the greatest things. They give me SUCH bad brainfreezes though!

AHHHH I don't know what to say, so much excitement BAH! HOORAY! OH also, it was fun seeing these tweets because I definitely missed them! I checked your tweets to see where you were sometimes (stalker) but I missed these because I was asleep!

Printers are man's inhumanity to man. I can't stand them. They're the most unreliable hunks of junk designed purely to make you buy a ton of ink.

And I know what it's like to leave a pet behind on a trip! The first vacation we took after we got our puppy was filled with discussion on how she was holding up. We think she did okay :O

Joining in. We are flying southwest in sept and I am so confused with the whole no seat but section thing... Very scary with your not being able to print boarding passes..phew glad that worked out.

Great update! I feel the same way about airport food on the way to Disney. Just knowing you will have delicious Disney food soon makes the airport food instantly pale in comparison!

I could've just fell over dead when I realized I didn't have a printer! I work at Staples, so my job is to sell ink & I feel guilty saying the total! SOO EXPENSIVE!

I think Meeko did okay, he was sad when we left, I could tell, but he was so happy when we got home!

When we went on our honeymoon to Disney World my mother in law watched my cat for us, she set up my husbands old bed for him and kept the Disney channel on for him the whole time we were away. LOL. Now I just leave them and let someone come feed them everyday. I have a toddler now so the cats take second seat now. Haha. Oh well, she is barely 2 and chases them all over, they have become best buddies. It's very adorable!

We were on our way to that big beautiful sign that would welcome be back to my real home.
We were just driving & chatting & of course I was bouncing out of my seat.

Ryan & I were pretending we were on the Magical Express because that video just makes it all the more exciting.

We saw the first exit sign that said, "Walt Disney World" & I just started crying, (go figure).

Finally, after a year of waiting I was reunited with one of the most beautiful sights in the world (the rest of the most beautiful sights in the world are also located within Disney World, what 7 Wonders? I'll just take Disney, thanks)

The angels were singing in the most beautiful of harmonies & suddenly all my worries & all my stress was instantly relieved & I was surrounded by purple signs that were pointing me in every direction of happiness.
After about 5 minutes of me looking in every which way with the biggest grin on my face, I realized that angels weren't actually singing, that was me humming "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah", I mean, I sound pretty angelic, so I was easily fooled.

We were all discussing what we were going to do & where we wanted to go.
Obviously, I wanted to head straight to the Magic Kingdom, I can never get enough of that place.
I could sit on any single bench in the park & just have the time of my life.
Magic Kingdom is my happy place.

However, that's not where we were headed today.

We'll get there however, cause at this point in the conversation, we had pulled into
ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE!

I was absolutely so excited to stay here again, I've said it before & I'll probably say it a thousand more times, this feels like the most homey to me.
We stayed here many many many times when I was younger so it'll always be one of my all time favorites.

AHHHHHHH!

Really thought about taking this home, but you know, Disney is where nothing is bad & they may frown upon stealing.
You are welcome Disney for not stealing that fabulous resort rug, but also thank you for making me a better person.
Disney: Keeping People From Becoming Thieves.
That's a good catch phrase.
Go ahead Disney, take that one for free, just allow me free park passes for the rest of my life.
I'm not asking for much.

Ryan & I had to check in & were unsure if our room would be ready.
Check in was super easy & I wish I could remember the CM that helped us, cause she was very nice.

IMPORTANT PART OF THE TR APPROACHING.
However, all of this is important, READ IT ALL PEOPLE, but this next part requires extra super attention.

During check in, the CM asked my dad if we wanted a credit card put on the room so we could CHARGE TO THE ROOM.
My dad said yes & gave the CM his card.
I figured this was just necessary for the room, I didn't think we would actually charge things to the room at this point in time.

I think I forgot to mention this, but this would be the first time we would be using the Dining Plan! YAAAAAY!

It turns out our room was already ready!
We were two doors down from my dad's room, & we had a SAVANNAH VIEW.

This was what we would wake up to every single morning.

HEAVEN ON EARTH PEOPLE.
I love me some animals.

Our room was SPECTACULAR.
One of my all time favorites here.

Of course we had our Mickey towels!

KING SIZE BED.

While I was trying to be a good Dis-er & take pictures of our beautiful room, Ryan was looking around as well.
Right after that last picture was taken I hear,
"OHMYGOD, FROG. COME LOOK AT THIS."
I am Frog. I don't know why, that's what Ryan calls me sometimes,

So I go to see what he is looking at & I see this,

Okay, this requires a little back story if you didn't read my last TR, WHICH YOU SHOULD.

Our room was cleaned every day by a woman named VERONICA, & the way that card was signed was identical to the way our room last year in Coronado was signed.
We absolutely knew it was her. It had to be.

So, I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the room, & I can't remember right now if I actually did get a picture, but we'll see!

The last picture from the room I have is of the little mouse,

We decided we wanted to grab a quick lunch since we hadn't actually eaten anything with substance yet today.

So after a quick freshening up & an outfit change, Ryan, me, Marge, & Miller headed down to Mara.

WEEEE.

The last time I had been in the Mara was quite a few years ago & they had changed it around a little bit, it looks really nice & we visit it quite a few times this trip.

We picked up our mugs first, before we forgot about them, which wouldn't have surprised me if we did.

I ended up getting the Pepperoni Flatbread & a Sprite.
For dessert I got the Zebra Domes, because I had heard SOOOO many wonderful things about them here on the DIS!

I would like to say THANK YOU to whoever's TR's I read that they raved about the Zebra Domes, because they were delicious!
Because I have the mental age of a 5 year old, I thought it was funny that they had liquor on the label.
No fear disers, I didn't get drunk on Zebra Domes! Maybe food drunk, but large amounts of alcohol weren't consumed.
Zebra Domes may have gave us a few giggles about getting drunk, but they had nothing to do with the title, "I'm NOT Drunk!" however that can be used here, since I WASN'T!
I was very disappointed in my flatbread, I took maybe 4 bites of it & I just couldn't do it. I don't know if it was just that one or all flatbreads but I will not be getting any more of those any time soon.

I tweeted:
"I just tried Zebra Domes. I am dead." 1:03PM

Ryan got some type of burger & fries with a coke?
& for dessert he got the cheesecake sampler thingy.
We use big words in this TR.

Ryan ate ALL of his food, he absolutely loved it.
The Mara gets 5 stars from Ryan.

We ran back up to the room to drop off our mugs & I texted Kelly to tell her where we were going.
She was waiting for a bus & would meet us at the park!
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!

Gotta get dat mirror pic, yo.

I'm lame, yes.

We took lots of "Vines" during this trip too, but those will all be included in the trip video, which will be done sometime before the next millennium.

TO THE BUS STOP WE GO!

Hallway picture? hahaha.

We made it to the bus stop & took a few pictures with everyone, which are on my dad's phone, so therefore I don't have them.

Within a matter of minutes our bus pulled up!
