Charge for fuel rod swaps?

Hello, all. We have a couple of fuel rods, and my memory is not functioning well right now. I know we’ve had them both for a while. Is WDW a charging for swaps now?

I remember there was a lot of back and forth with it for a while, litigation, and something about proof of when purchased …. I really want to say that we didn’t pay last May. But I don’t remember finding receipts or anything to prove when we bought to make it free, either.

We were there in December, and there was no charge for swaps. Less machines than before — locations are listed in MDE.

We are here now, the machines are not charging. Free swaps as much as you want.
