charge for extra adults?

Hi to all,

I called WDW reservations last night and asked about two extra adults staying with us at our site, in our camper. I was told there would be no extra charge, and that I just needed to add them to my reservation. Is this true? I thought for sure there would be an extra fee for adding adults....................

The charge is $2 + tax per night for each adult over 2 adults at a site.

We were just there 6 weeks ago and my daughter and her friend (both 18) were charged this extra fee per night.

We were there May 7-17 and our DD joined us on the 11th. We were told on the phone it would be a $2.00 charge per adult. When we went to check her in, (she was in her dress blues- she is in the Air Force stationed at McDill AFB and just coming from work) and they didn't charge anything. I even asked about it and was told don't worry about it. I'm not sure if it was because she was in uniform or because they just don't charge you. But he changed our reservation and gave her a room key matching ours. I thanked him and we were on our way.

I probably wasn't any help at all. I just thought it was great!

Thanks for the help. I knew I had heard there was a fee, but thought it was more like 5 or 10 dollars for each extra adult. 2 dollars is certainly no big deal.

You may have received the "no charge " for your daughter due to her being in uniform. My DH is active Army, and we've had alot of the that kind of thing happen in the past year too.

I think it is great! These kind of gestures for our military is justly deserved! Just one mom's opinion!
