Just wondering if anyone had a characturist at their wedding and what the thoughts are about having one. Just contemplating if we can get some fun entertainment without spending upwards of $1000. Thanks!!!

We are having a caricature artist during our reception, but because our guest count is at 50 we apparently need 2. They are $585 each, plus the tubes and service/tax.

We had one at our reception last month - he was amazing! I hired him direct through Disney, we paid $585 and then added on an additional hour for $125 on the spot because he didn't have time to do the last few people in the allotted 3 hours. He was worth every cent - it was a fantastic way to keep people entertained, and provided a very unique alternative to regular wedding favors.

I had one as well that I hired right from Disney I spent the $585 for him I also paid an extra $100 so that I could have a boarder around my picture with our name and wedding date on it. He did a great job. My wedding planner made it sound like he was going to take several scheduled breaks during the wedding but he took none. My wedding planner also told me that families had to get their picture together and in fact the guy who did my drawings only wanted to do singles or couples. He said it took to long to fit a whole family in a drawing. Below is my drawing DH asked him to draw our dogs in it to. You can also see our boarder.
