Can anyone tell me or lead me to where I can find Character meet-greet times. We are headed to both DCA & DL next week. Also, is the Rap & Flynn meet-n-greet as crazy as WDW? I would love to know everyones advice on the best way to see them all is!! THANKS!!

This thread has a lot of DLR character information in it.

Pikc up a "Times Guide" when you enter the park for that days M&G time and location information.

Rapunzel gets a long line, so many like to hit it early. I would try to see her midweek when crowds are lower.

Depending on when you're going, I have the times guide through next week.

Rapunzel is usually 11-5 everyday, and it's best to get there around 10:30. Unless it's a Tue or Wed, the wait is usually never below 45-60 min. I caught it on a Wed afternoon at around 15 min, but I consider that good luck.

Pooh and friends run from 10:30 or so until 4:30-5, depending on the day. The wait is never more than 20-30 min here.

Pixie Hollow is never more than 20-30 min and the CM at the bottom can tell you who is currently there or about to come. That's how I got to see Fawn, as I was told by a very helpful CM, who allowed me to get to the front of the line and then hang out as she was running behind.

Princess Fantasy Faire is great to hit on the mornings that the park opens at 9am. Everyone rushes for the rides and forgets about it. I got in at opening yesterday, strolled by the subs and then made my (long) way over, and was still the 3rd person in line.

Other characters:

Main St: Fab five, Chip & Dale, Pinnochio, Gepetto, Cruella. Yesterday, I caught Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, Chip & Dale all out at the same time around 2:30. They spread out around Town Square form their own lines, or pair off. Just hop into any line you want. Sometimes they overlap or run away into each other's lines.
Beside Pixie Hollow: Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Ariel, Mad Hatter, Alice, Queen of Hearts
Paths beside Castle: Snow White, Evil Queen, Ariel, Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, Mary Poppins & Bert, sometimes Belle, Aurora
On the steps beside Small World: Donald, Chip & Dale, Pooh
Toon Town: Daisy
By Big Thunder BBQ: Jessie, Woody
NOS: Tiana, Naveen (currently)
Adventureland: Aladdin and Jasmine

DCA: Sulley, Jake (Neverland Pirates), Handy Manny, Minnie, Pluto, Duffy, Goofy, Woody, Jessie, Buzz

Keep in mind this was just in one day. You can easily see all these in one day and yesterday there were so many out it was ridiculous!

To confirm the character times and places, simply go to City Hall upon entering DL and ask. If you do not know the location of City Hall in DL, ask any CM after going through the entry gates....:cool1:

I have to say you got lucky if you saw Daisy in Toontown, I have never seen Daisy at DL.

I tend to go during the weekdays and I saw her out most of the day in late January. I went two days ago and head she had been out, but I didn't see her. She appears mid-day on the left side of Toon Town behind Goofy's garden in the roundabout-looking thing.

Daisy ? Have seen her several times at Toon Town Morning Madness. Have autographs and photos. Well worth the effort to obtain tickets.....:cool1:

For the fab five and others, I think the Main Street is the way to go!!!

Mickey's house in Toon Town is a sure fire way to meet him, the rest are on Main Street throughout the day. Mickey's line on Main Street can be pretty long, it is better to just go back to his house. Character meals and Goofy's Kitchen or Minnie's Breakfast are easy (but expensive) ways to get time with characters.

We were there the 1-30-12 to 2-3-12
We saw Daisy in Toon Town in the morning in behind Goofy's house. All the other characters were out too. This was after early morning time in toontown.
Rapunzel's line was LONG every day we were there. I asked the handler, when it's the shortest wait. They said the wait is usually 60 minutes plus. Mainly because in the Meet and Greet they do not rush or limit the time kids visit with Rapunzel. They also said people begin lining up well before they open. And if you are in line when they close at 5pm you will see Rapunzel.

The Rapunzel meet-and-greet is (as far as I know) a guaranteed way to meet Rapunzel, but Flynn is not always there. I am not sure if he is more likely to be there during a weekend, when it's busier, or if it's just luck of the draw. (It sounded to me from other posters that he is usually there, but I'd be prepared for him not to be.)

If you will be there on the weekend and like Tiana and/or Naveen and/or characters in different costumes, look for the threads on the Mardi Gras events they have going on for a few more weekends. They have a show with Tiana, Naveen, and Louis, and meet-and-greets with Tiana and the rarely-seen Naveen. Also with other characters like Mickey and Minnie dressed in Mardi Gras finery. :)

Have a great trip!
