Which characters are mostly likely to be seen in the parks? Which ones are often just out in the parks somewhere verses having a specific meet and greet area?

I ask because I might be going in January, and I thought it would be awesome to have the characters autograph drawings of themselves. I love to draw and I'm trying to figure out which characters drawings I should work on. I know I will see the princesses as we plan to eat at the Princess Story Time meal in EPCOT. Who else should I draw?

Thanks

I don't think you can find characters that aren't at M&G anymore on a typical day. You might see them walking to their greet location but they won't stop.

There are a few wandering characters left, most notably the Tremaines. They meander about Fantasyland in the mornings.

Ive seen both: random characters out and about, and the ones that run around and wont stop (ie: Alice).

Over the years there has been less and less characters freely out, I suppose its too hectic and somewhat dangerous for their friends.

Alas, I have to agree. The free range character has become an endangered species and sitings are increasingly rare. They have had to be placed within the confines of a secured environment for their own protection. We can only hope that one day they can be reintroduced into the wild. Should you wish to contribute, send your donations to the "Save the Characters Fund".

Like everyone said...they are usually at their scheduled places....but I always seem to find chip and dale.

Very cool idea though!

:rotfl::rotfl: Exactly!!!!!!

Thank you. Do they not have characters in their lands EPCOT? Or do you consider that a meet and greet?

We had met Marie the Cat in France randomly walking about and we always bump into Chip and Dale near tomorrowland at MK

They have become meet and greets because most have long lines, especially the princesses. But here is a list of Epcot characters that I can recall:

Pluto (entrance)
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy (M & G Area in Front)
Chip & Dale (outside this M & G building)
Duffy (beginning of World Showcase)
Donald (Mexico)
Mulan (China)
Snow White (Germany)
Aladdin & Jasmine (Morocco)
Belle (France)
Aurora (France)
Alice (England)
Mary Poppins (England)
Pooh & Tigger (England)

Occasionally they have rarer characters come out - these are CM training to be "friends of the characters". But that is never a guarantee.
