Characters in Flight Balloon DTD

Personally I wasn't too keen when I was up there, it swayed a tad too much for my liking said the ex parachuting women who is now a total whimp

I was reading about this on the Strategies section earlier. I wish everyone a speedy recovery.

I've never been on this and to be honest I never planned on it either. I'm terrified of heights, but I did like to watch it go up and down.

Some people on the other thread said it was an eye sore but I like it.

Hopefully it'll be back where it belongs at DTD and the peoples who enjoyed this attraction will be able to do so once more.

oh didn't know it was on that board...mind you I don't venture past the UK boards

I liked seeing it in the sky and it did offer wonderful views of a very very flat Orlando! I was very pleased to be back on firm ground. If you can imagine the tower at Seaworld its got a view much like that..but you can walk around on the balloon if you can manage to let go of the netting!!!!!

We really enjoyed it and I was hoping to do it again this year because somebody (ahem .... no names mentioned ...) had been out at EMH the night before the balloon flight last year and had the camera set for night shots

I thought it was lovely. It doesn't go very high, it's quick and easy to get to without having to go offsite for it and you can get some really nice photos (IF you remember you tweaked your ISO white balance the night before, lol)

I didn't get around to posting on the other thread, the posts varied from the shortage of helium and whether we can refer to Spaceship Earth as a ball or not.

I've never been near the Sky Tower (I'll be sure to give it a try this trip though), the thought of being able to walk round the balloon makes me feel queasy.

Bet it's a wonderful view though

Oh dear. I'd seen someone post about this on Facebook. I hope everyone is ok.

I was hoping to ride this year when we go. DBF doesn't like heights, I thought I would be able persuade him to come with me but after this there's no way.

Gutted to hear this as I wanted to go on it when we go at the end of September. I'm not keen on heights but it looked good
