Characters in Epcot?

I was watching one of the shows on The Travel Channel yesterday and one of the tips was to try to see the characters in Epcot because it is generally considered "an adult's park" and there are fewer people in line to see the characters.

There was no mention of this being the Visa meet and greet.

Ummm, where is that in Epcot and can anyone point me to the right direction somewhere online to research it more?

I'm not sure about the "Visa" info, but Epcot does have the Character meet and greet area at the entrance to "The Land". Mickey, Miniie, Donald, Goofy and more are there all day.

There is a general meet and greet at the beginning of Epcot - Future World. I am sure someone can tell you exactly where it is but you cannot miss it. We walked by it several times. But the best part of Epcot meet and greets are the characters in the country. We never waited for a character meet in the countries and we probably met 25 different characters throughout the different countries. Minnie and Goofy and Chip and Dale and several others were in America. The princesses were each in their own country (ex. Japan had Mulan, Belle in Germany, Alice in wonderland and Mary Poppins in England, etc...) My 3 year old loved all the time she got to spend with the characters in Epcot. It was definitely a highlight. (Oftentimes when no one else was in line the characters would dance with my daughter or play silly games around her). It was really nice.

When we went in October, I must have seriously had my head up my...in the clouds...because I totally missed the characters then. Yeah, I'm a ditz.

Anyway, we won't miss them next time, that's for sure!

You're not the only one! We missed it too! I'm really going to have to keep an eye out for this!
