Characters from Spectromagic

I am not sure if anyone knows thew answer to this, but my DD 6 keeps asking this question about the Spectromagic parade. At the beginning of the parade there are several white faced characters riding on "ball like" things. We have no idea what these are supposed to be, where they are from or even why they are in the parade. We don't think they are from any movie, but we could be wrong. We had asked a few cast memebers what they were, but they didn't know. If anyone knows anything about them can you please let us know.

They are Spectro Men. They are not from any movie.

spectro men? Nothing to do with anything Disney other than being in the parade? That seems odd that Disney would put them in just to put them in there. Well at least I can tell DD6 what they are. Thank you!

indeed there is something about the glowing faces...they scream "I AM GOING TO GET YOU!!!"

yes, i agree they are creepy. MY DD6 just doesn't understand why they are in the parade. I am not to thrilled with the parade. The original Electric Light Parade was much better as is the Share a Dream Come True Parade. I don't think there are that many charcters in Spectromagic as the other parades.

Yep, the Spectro Men are a bit creepy. However, to me, that is what night does to a theme park....

well spectro is leaving again at the end of the season. and a newer version of the main street electric parade is comming. I believe the one from tokyo. Although i really like spectro especialy the chipmunks on the big piano.

A new light parade?! That's not cool at all. I haven't heard of this. Im not pleased though. Good thing I will be there in July so i can see it 1 last time. When did you hear of Spectro leaving?

Awww Spectromagic is leaving! My DD2 loves the lights! Is there any exact date of leaving? We are going in July, October and December. Will it still be there during any of those months?

I've never seen the Electric Light Parade before. Is it just as good as Spectro?
