I was at MVMCP last night which was fun despite being a bit wet early in the evening. Being a confirmed character fanatic, I thought I'd list who I saw when and where for anyone else who may be characters hunting. Can't say they will on the same schedule or same locations, but it may help:

Adventureland

Behind Magic Carpets of Aladdin: Jasmine and Aladdin on the hour swapping with Genie and Abu on the half hour

Frontierland

Country Bear Jamboree - Country Bears and Brer Bear: I only saw them at around 10:15 while waiting for the second parade, but they may have made other appearances

Golden Horseshoe Saloon - Jessie, Woody and Bullseye at various times (not sure of the schedule). They were greeting outside near the cut-through to Adventureland since they were giving out Christmas treats inside.

Fantasyland

Next to Small World - Belle (in Christmas dress) and Beast on the hour swapping with Snow White and the Prince on the half hour

Ariel's Grotto - Dance Party seemed to feature Suzy and Perla swapping with Pinocchio characters

Pooh's Play Area - Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore on the hour swapping with Tigger, Rabbit and Piglet on the half hour

Donald's Tree Lot - Donald on the hour swapping with Uncle Scrooge on the half hour

Teacups - I saw Alice and the Queen of Hearts at one point, but they seemed to move into Cosmic Ray's Dance Party during the rain. Not sure if they stayed there.

Mickey's Toontown

Toontown Hall of Fame - Mickey and Minnie in one room, Princess Aurora and Prince Philip and Cinderella and Prince Charming in the other (no one in the 3rd room)

Tomorrowland

Cosmic Ray's - Lilo and Stitch, as well as Alice and Queen of Hearts at one point. There may have been other characters at some point.

Sorry I didn't get into Tomorrowland or to Town Square, so I couldn't say which chararcters may have been at those locations. I am going back on 12/5 and will make an effort to get to those areas and report back.

:)

Thanks for the info!!! I was at MVMCP two weeks ago, and saw many characters but not Bullseye or Rabbit - good to see them out now! The only real sad thing is that once again (like with MNSSHP), the characters at these parties are pretty much the exact same as last year's, except for Scrooge in Donald's Tree Lot (he was in Town Square last year). Be nice to see some creativity from Disney, but nope.

Sadly, I don't like Disney's trend of repeating everything, as there is nothing new to do or see at these parties, it seems. :(

Ah, the Country Bears. :teeth: Oh yes, they were out other then during the 2nd parade. We had so much fun.

We were at the party Nov 17 and saw Captain Hook, Smee and Peter Pan by Pirates of the Caribbean!

Don't despair, my friend. For with a great amount of optimism, faith, trust and pixie dust, next year and future years will be different.

BTW, have you written to Disney yet to tell them how you feel? And what did you say?

Oh, I wish I had your optimism! I hope next year will be different! I actually cancelled my whole MNSSHP trip this year (and wasted almost $80 in party tickets) since there was nothing new to do or see. I went to MVMCP this year, but I could have skipped it too, since nothing new. I am already thinking ahead to planning next year's trips (I have a new job and need to claim weeks early! :teeth: ), and really wonder if I should bother with a MNSSHP or MVMCP anymore. There used to be some variety, but not this year. Oh well. :(

I never written to Disney, since I guess I am a pessimist on that, too! Every time I go to Guest Services and ask about a character, more often than not the CM has no clue who it is, and never show any real interest in helping me. Well, maybe I should write something, pretty much nothing to lose!! :scratchin

I very highly recommend writing letters to WDW expressing your feelings. It's the best way to make your voice be heard. WDW always appreciates guest feedback...and they WILL listen.

Don't be pessimistic--just write. After all, if you don't get something off your chest, it may bother forever.

When you get your letters out to them, please tell us what you wrote.

Just helping a fellow character fan, that's all.

This years MVMCP has all the same characters that are in the parks on a regular basis. Special Events used to bring out some awesome characters for MNSSHP and MVMCP. I wish they would go back to the days when they had Clopin, Esmerelda, Quasimodo and Phoebus all in one setting. I doubt I'll ever get to see them again.

There have been some new characters out in the parks but I haven't heard about anyone else. The only ones I can think that might be out in the next few months is the Meet the Robinsons characters and I haven't even heard a definite if they are going to be in the parks.

Once again, I VERY strongly suggest that you write WDW letters telling them how you feel and what you want. They WILL listen and it WILL be worth your time.
