Characters at Hoop Dee Doo?

Hello! :D

You won't find Mickey and the gang at the Hoop De Doo, but you will find six characters full of slap stick comedy. Seriously, The show that accompanies dinner is presented by the Pioneer Hall players (3 guys/3 girls) who have a routine of songs, humor and audience participation. It is truly fun! We went last July and my two teenage counsins can't stop talking about it.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm not an expert, but will be glad to tell you about the food, seating, etc.

Have a Disney Day:earsboy:

I was hoping we'd see some of the regular characters. Do you think ds14 will enjoy it? Other ds is 4, so I thought this may appeal to both. What do you think?

I think the show is great for the entire family; just enough for the kids with little adult humor mixed in. My two cousins were 15 and 19 respectively and both really enjoyed it. They were a little aprehensive at first, but really got into it by the end of the night.

Have a great trip!

When we went when DS #1 was 12 and DS #2 was 6 and they both loved it. Our little one got picked to be the hero for the little melodrama play and of course that was topping on the cake!!!

Hoop De Doo

Hi!

As far as our family is concerned the HDD is a great show for children ages 2 thru 80 and beyond, and the food is also very good. Our granddaughter has been there when she was 5 and 16 and loves it. We will be there again this coming July 7th. Don't think you can go wrong on this booking. Enjoy the magic!! Bob

Okay, can you talk a doubter into paying the big bucks for this show? The 'old west" type theming doesn't really appeal to me. For instance I went to Diamond Horseshoe on my first visit, and have never felt the need to go back again. And that's free! But I figure there must be others out there like me, who didn't think they'd like it, and really did. Not sure I ever heard a bad review of it...so, I WANT to be sold... or talked out of it.

Hi Paula,

It is really a fun show for everyone - with different levels of humour - I had a riot, as did my 8 year old daughter and we were laughing at the same thing for different reasons.

There are lots of corny jokes but also some great singing and dancing and a fun story line - I really can't imagine anyone disliking this show or thinking they were "ripped off"

The food is surprisingly good and lots of it... holy cow - you should see the size of the cups of coffee

Go and have fun!

Coffee??? How about the unlimited pitchers of beer? ;) We got our moneys worth there alone.
But seriously, we loved the show. We saw it in 2000 and then again in 2002. I was a little reluctant to go back because with such short hours on our trip, I didnt want to waste precious park time. After the show, I was so gald we went back again. I laughed so hard I cried(and this was the 2nd time). The food is awesome and as mentioned above, plentiful. I really find the HDD to be a bargain. You could never get that much food, drink, and tickets to a show for that price. :D

Not so expensive (comparably) -

Hi. again.

If one has dinner at some of the WDW restaurants, an entree along with a couple of drinks and dessert costs just about what the HDD does, and no great show to go with it. Just think, you can have your corn on the stage and eat it too!! We believe you will like it - just keep an open and positive mind and enjoy!
Bob
